OVERVIEW OF THE LABOR MOVEMENT IN THE PERIOD 11-31 MAY 2016

In Rostov-on-Don stadium builders on strike
At the beginning of the second half of May, the workers involved in the construction of the sports arena, which should open up for the World Cup, went on strike. The main reason for the protest – wage arrears. The strike was attended by more than a hundred construction workers, including migrant workers from Turkey. In total, the facility employs more than 2 thousand people. The term of salary arrears covers more than three months. After receiving the news about the strike, on the scene arrived representatives of the labor inspectorate.

On May 26 on the banks of the River Kama, strike action began. The protest was held on one of the objects of the construction of the fourth unit of the Perm GRES power station. The reason for the strike - salary payment delay. The strike was attended by power plant builders, living mainly in the town of Dobryanka, which is located north of the city of Perm. At the site work also builders workers brought in from other parts of the county.
By 30 May the builders promised repayment of the arrears.

Miners rally in Rostov-on-Don
On May 25, miners from Gukova and Krasny Sulina held a protest in the regional centre. The protesters demanded payment of delayed wages. Protesters said that the company where they work, for a year has not paid salaries to five thousand of its employees. The picketers waved placards with the slogan: "Give back our money!"
The protest alarmed local officials. It was visited by representatives of the government of the Rostov region and the city administration.


Protest in the Pskov region
On May 20 in the city of Ostrov, workers held a picket outside the "Vector" factory. The action was attended by over 50 people.
Protesters by using the picket tried to attract the attention of citizens to the violations of labor legislation at the enterprise. The participants recalled that for several years they have been fighting for their rights, achieving recognition by management of the collective agreement, and the timely issuance of wage indexation. Since 2014, the staff of the company have repeatedly sent letters to various authorities, but the director and his loyalists are still ignoring the demands of the workers.
The picket was held under the slogan "No delays in wages!" "For the observance of labor legislation," "No- three-day round the clock working!", "Give us the tariff rate of the first category, equal to the minimum wage!", "We demand the implementation of the collective agreement!", "Shame on leaders violating the Labour Code! ".
"There was no reaction to our picket by the company's management, nor the authorities. Nevertheless, we are determined and will not stop only at the picket. In the near future we are going to apply to the court for recognition of the legitimacy of the action of the collective agreement, which is currently operating in the enterprise, but for some reason ignored by the mamagment .. ". - Chairman of the Pskov regional branch of the Russian Trade Union of Radio Electronic Industry Workers, Andreev said.

Picket laid-off workers in Krasnoyarsk
Former employees of road-building mobile mechanized column "Achinsk" on May 20 held another protest rally, demanding repayment of debts on wages. Picketing took place in Krasnoyarsk at the regional administration building. Speeches were made by the representatives of the trade union "Sotsprof". Total debt of salary for staff of the company is about 80 million rubles.
In August 2015, the former road workers of Achinsk carried out a hunger strike. However, they have not received their money. The worker in my experience feel that such a "toothless" protest as hunger strike, is ineffective.

Warning strike on Ural Transport
On May 4 in Irbit, Sverdlovsk region, drivers and conductors of the municipal enterprise went on to take the plunge. They carried out an hour-long warning strike. The reason for stopping work was the dissatisfaction of employees of low wages at transport enterprises, where the wage indexing has not been carried out for ten years.
The management demanded that the strikers write explanatory letters. Protesters were pressured by the police. But the drivers were not afraid. They announced their intention to launch a full-scale strike on May 11 and to strike until the authorities had solved the problem seriously. The basis for the beginning of the protest actions of workers is in the provision of Article 134 of the Labour Code, which refers to the indexation of wages due to the rise in consumer prices for goods and services.

In early May, a protest was organized in the town of Polevskoy. A strike was held by workers at the local utility company. The cause of the strike is delay the issuance of wages.
Decisive action of the strikers took effect. Shortly after the start of the protest, it was reported that on May 5, cash was flowing, and the enterprise director dismissed from his post. Whether this will lead to positive change, only time will tell.

Meeting of workers at the Armenian government building
At the beginning of May in Yerevan, a protest was held by employees of "Nairit" factory. It was held at the Armenian government building and brought together more than 300 participants. The protesters demanded a meeting with the Prime Minister of the country. They are designed to prevent the bankruptcy of the plant and promote the resumption of rubber production in Armenia.

From the government protesting the building went to the room where the Ministry of Economy of Armenia is located. Officials received a delegation of five protesters. Employees of "Nairit" were assured that at the plant has been formed a working group, which should help to solve the problems of the enterprise. However, the protesters did not particularly believe the optimistic statements of the authorities.

Chita. Driven to despair chitinet in protest cuts his wrist
How much can people take from their bullying capitalists, was shown in an incident that occurred in one of the cities of Eastern Siberia. At the beginning of the fourth week of April, at the entrance of a factory, a worker from Chita in front of a dozen employees cut his wrist. He said he did it to get from the management at least part of his salary. He has not been paid since February, and he was willing to give up his live, so as not to end up on the street with his pregnant wife, since they were being evicted from their rented apartment. As a result, at the entrance, appeared the director of the company who gave the man 15 thousand rubles. It is of such debt and discussed. Another strike in Kachkanar (Sverdlovsk region)
On April 21, workers of a local mining and processing enterprise, angry by the actions of their bosses, announced an Italian strike. According to the chairman of the trade union organization, the administration sent to all employees of the enterprise a draft project of the new provisions on wages which ignored all the proposals of the trade union on the matter. The document will come into force on 1 July 2016. After that, workers' bonus amount will depend on the fulfillment of planned economic indicators of the enterprise as a whole. Personally to each worker was handed against a receipt, a written warning that failure to continue to work on the new terms will result in dismissal under Article 77 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation. It is against this brutal willfulness by the enterprise owners that the workers of the Kachkanar mining and processing plant located in the Sverdlovsk region took industrial action.

In the capital of Karelia (Petrozavodsk) transporters did not come into work
On April 18, minibuses drivers began an indefinite strike, opposing the intolerable working conditions. The main demand of the strikers - to change the financial conditions that are imposed on them by the employer. Drivers declared the need to reduce by 30 percent the daily plan, the amount they have to fulfil in the morning for the owners of the enterprise, regardless of whether they will be able to make it during the day. Currently, it ranges from 6 to 10 thousand rubles. Drivers argue that they operate at a loss. Their claims were set out in writing and handed over to the authorities on 15th April.

Rally takes place in Perm
On April 26, workers and other employees of the local road construction companies held a protest rally. More than 300 people demanded from the government an end to massive cuts. According to the protesters, the leading enterprises of the Perm road construction were left without orders, which means no money. At stake were more than a thousand jobs. Orders for ten contracts for the next three years and in early April the company received from the neighboring regions, in particular, Tyumen region.

Protest rally in Vladivostok against low wages
On April 27, the capital of Primorsky Krai held a rally of ambulance station workers. Protesters demanded higher level of earnings, a fair size of bonuses and incentive payments, and ambulance fleet renewal. Employees previously submitted applications to the prosecutor and the administration of Primorsky Krai. At the end of the rally those who had gathered signed a resolution that was passed over to the city and regional authorities.

After the fascist uprising in Kiev and the accession of the pro-American junta, workers in Ukraine live worse and worse. Workers at the Dnepropetrovsk Tube Works have not been paid. In February-March factory workers were paid cleared debts for January and February 2016. Now the wages have not been paid for spring. In addition, the workers want to finally get the money for the autumn and December of 2015. Therefore, on April 25, they went on strike and stopped work.

Kamchatka builders on strike
In early April, in the city Vilyuchinsk employees of the company "Dalspetsstroy" employed in the construction of the Ministry of Defence buildings, announced their suspension of work. The reason for the protest – wage arrears. The total amount due to the workers is more than 10 million rubles. The strikers announced their readiness to proceed with the other protest actions and to picket the city administration in Vilyuchinsk.

A meeting of workers of the Moscow Metro
On April 2 in Moscow, protest action was held. It was a demonstration of workers and other employees of the underground metro trains. It was attended by over 100 people. The rally was organized by trade union activists.
Protesters expressed the need to stop the reduction in the number of employees, increase wages, restore benefits for work in unhealthy conditions.
Assessing the overall situation, as the pre-strike, the protesters demanded that the heads of the underground and the authorities in Moscow for a week open the procedure of collective labor dispute. If the workers' demands are not heard in the union we intend to continue to actively fight for their rights, to labor arbitration and strike.

In Moscow held a protest action "truckers"
On April 3 at the center of the capital, on the square Yauza gate, heavy truck drivers staged a protest against toll roads. The rally was attended by over 250 people.
Drivers came to the protest without lorries, as travel on lorries in the center of the city is prohibited.
The meeting was attended by "truckers" from many regions, particularly from Leningrad, Tula, Vologda, Ulyanovsk, Chelyabinsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan and Kostroma regions, as well as from Karelia, Mordovia, Udmurtia. Participants of the rally came up with posters of "Plato to the landfill, the government - resign", "Plato, go away", "Stop feeding Rotenberg."
- The authorities ignored the demands of the protesters drivers, so the president and the government should resign - said the speaking "truckers".

In the Krasnoyarsk region, strike action by workers of agricultural enterprises
On April 5 at the village of Gnetova in Bogotolsky District at the "Siberia" farm, the milk workers went on strike because of debts on wages. Money ceased to be paid since January 2016.
One of the milk workers of the enterprise said that all employees were asked to resign from the cooperative and they were immediately taken on by another company in December last year. In January the villagers were paid 2-3 thousand rubles, but since then nothing more has be paid to them. And this amount, according to the workers, and is their wages, despite the fact that it is much less than the subsistence minimum. However, there is no other work in the countryside.
It was learned that one of the farm workers died from a stroke - she was very worried because of accumulated debts. It was the last straw. Women began to strike.

Rally of Togliatti workers
On April 2, the city held a mass protest, which was attended by more than five hundred employees of four large enterprises, including the Volga Machine-Building Plant. The meeting was devoted to the problems of layoffs and wage arrears to workers.
The main attention was paid to the problems of enterprise protesters of "Stavropolstroyservis" employees who for more than six months have been without pay. The demonstrators appealed to the local authorities. Their resolution demanded that they stop the reduction in jobs at the enterprises of Togliatti and Samara Region, and to begin paying the delayed earnings during April.

In the south of Kazakhstan transport workers

On April 7 in Almaty, several dozen bus drivers decided to go on strike. Thus the strikers tried to draw the attention of the authorities and citizens to their financial situation. The drivers demanded wage increases of up to 150 thousand tenge.

OVERVIEW OF THE LABOR MOVEMENT IN THE PERIOD OF 11-31 MARCH

In Ulyanovsk, there was a meeting of workers
On March 26 in the city centre, a protest action was organized by the employees of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ). The workers demanded from the authorities to increase wages, to stop the reduction of personnel and comply with labor law.
The outcome of the meeting was the signing of appeals to the authorities with a proposal to nationalize the UAZ, if "private business is not able to keep the company and its workers at a decent level."
The total number of staff in UAZ enterprises at the end of 2015 stood at around 8 thousand people.

Kama bridge builders protest
On 19 and March 20 in the south-east of Udmurtia workers took strike action. It was a strike of the builders of the bridge over the river Kama, which is being built in Kambarka district of the republic. The reason for the protest is wage arrears. The strikers demanded the immediate payment of the amounts they are owed.
One of the workers of the enterprise, who is building the bridge, said the salary after the strike was given only to those who participated in it. The rest did not get anything.
By mid-March, many workers had not even have seen salaries for November 2015. Besides, they have not been paid wages or holiday money.

The rally against the closure of the sugar factory in Sergach
At the end of March in Nizhny Novgorod region, protest action was held. It was a meeting in which workers at the Sergach sugar factory strongly demanded stopping the closure of the main enterprise, due to recently held modernization.
Previously they held a similar protest. The resolution of the previous rally was signed by more than five thousand people.
In the case of the destruction of the enterprise will leave without work and livelihoods many residents of the city of Sergach and nearby towns. Closing the plant will inevitably hit farmers also. Fields of sugar beet occupy hundreds of hectares in the region. The plant in Sergach is the only one in the whole region.
Next year, the company is to mark the fiftieth anniversary of operation - whole dynasties work here.

Strike Rzhev
On March 17, local workers at a crane factory suspended operations. The reason - the delay in payment of wages during the past five months. Total debt is about 40 million rubles. The protest was organized by the trade union organization of the enterprise. Previously, workers turned over the facts of non-payment of wages to the prosecutor, the court and the labor inspectorate. All turned out to be useless. Only strike action was the method that caused the authorities to take any measures to solve the problem.
The labor collective at the Rzhevsky Crane plant in Tver region, during the strike was resolute and did not intend to resume work until full repayment of salary debts.

In Volgograd, protest action against the collapse of the municipal electric transport system
In February, one of the tram routes in the Krasnoarmeysk district of the city on the decision of the authorities was closed. On March 20 the workers and other employees of the company "Metroelektrotrans" gathered for a rally in support of the municipal electric transport. Protesters held placards and banners with slogans: "Give us back the 6th trolley buses," "Hands off the trolleybuses!", "We shall not close the 18 th trolleybus route!" and others. As a result of the action, protesters, who face cuts, decided to write a letter to the Attorney General, the Ministry of Transport.

The strike in the Leningrad region
In the town of Sosnovy Bor, workers at the "MSU-90" Enterprise were engaged in the construction of the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant-2. At the beginning of the second half of March, they refused to perform job duties. Workers are not satisfied with the fact of wage delays, and they are protesting against only partial repayment.

The strike in Tyumen
In March, drivers who are engaged in the delivery of local bakery products organized a strike. The discontentment of the workers is due to delay in pay.

The UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA) issued the following statement on the 66th anniversary of the provocation of the Korean War (Fatherland Liberation War in the DPRK) which falls on the 25th of June and the start of the month of solidarity with the Korean people against US imperialism from June 25th to July 27th (the dates being symbolic as they are the dates when the war started and finished).
The Korean war provoked entirely by the US imperialists and their south Korean puppets was a horrendous genocidal war against the Korean people . The aim of the US was not "freedom" and "democracy" but conquest and enslavement. The aim of the US was to seize the northern half of Korea in order to have a strategic bridgehead , so that they could have their troops on the borders of China and the Soviet Union . In fact General Douglas MacArthur wanted to turn the Korean war into a war against China. It was part and parcel of the "roll back " strategy of US imperialism and the so called "Truman doctrine."
The fact that John Foster Dullles, US secretary of state , visited south Korea on the 19th of June 1950 only a week before the war started proves beyond all reasonable doubt the role of the US in provoking the war. The Foster-Dulles visit involved tours of front-line areas .
It should also be added that General Douglas McArthur admitted that on the 25th of June the fact was that the Korean People's Army was deployed in a defensive postion.
During the war US killed over 1,200,000 million civilians in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea . During the war the US indiscriminately bombed the DPRK as well as carrying out deliberate and premeditated massacres of civilians.
The US imperialists committed horrendous and stomach-turning atrocities in all parts of Korea.Several times UK KFA delegations have visited the Sinchon Ri Museum which serves as a memorial to the 35,383 people murdered by the US imperialists during their temporary occupation of the area. Similar atrocities took place at Rogun-ri in south Korea. The US not only used napalm in Korea but also biological weapons that are outlawed under international law. Recently the US has shipped anthrax into south Korea with the express intent of repeating the disaster of biological warfare.
The most fitting tribute to those who died in the Korean War is to campaign for the withdrawal of US troops from the south of Korea and for the reunification of Korea.
UK KFA joins with Korean Friendship organisations throughout the world and progressive people everywhere in calling for the total and unconditional withdrawal of US troops from the south of Korea .The US must end its anti DPRK policy .The US imperialists are building up their armed forces in south Korea with new weapons as well as continuing to carry out military exercises against the DPRK.The US and their surrogates have imposed massive sanctions on the independent and peac-loving DPRK.The US has brought nuclear attack means including the USS Mississippi into Korean waters to threaten the DPRK.
Finally it is time for the Korean Armistice Agreement ,which is over 60 years old, to be replaced by a proper and permanent peace treaty. We strongly support the proposal of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK for talks with the US .

2. HOW AND WHY DID THE KOREAN WAR START ?

One of the big lies repeated over and over again by the media, by academics, by politicians , by teachers and trendy internet sources like the Wikipeida is that the Korean War began because of the "surprise attack" or "invasion " of south Korea by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea usually referred to as "north Korea" by the corrupt and venal Western media.
For a start it is impossible to actually invade your own country !The south Korean part of Korea is an integral part of Korea. Korea was artifically divided by US imperialism, before 1945 there was no such thing as north and south Korea . However the myth that the Korean People's Army rushed
south on the morning of the 25th of June was used to justify the actual invasion of People's Korea by the US imperialists as well massive intervention by 15 countries under the false flag of the UN .
What are the facts ?
Firstly, the DPRK had only come into being in 1948 , It's priority was state building and the building of the economy it had no interest or reason to start a war. The DPRK's two allies the USSR and the People's Republic of China were in no position to wage war . The USSR had lost 20 million people in the Second World War and had suffered devastation . It needed peace in order to rebuilt the country . The PRC had only been set up in September 1949 , it was a young state that needed peace . So the DPRK and its allies had no motive or desire to start a war.
Secondly, the US on the other hand was desperate to stop spread of communism in Asia . It was obsessed by the "loss of China " and dreamed of eliminating the DPRK and halting the Chinese revolution . The US even put adopted the policy of rollback . As US cold warrior and secretary of state John Foster Dulles said " We should make it clear to the tens of millions of restive subject people in Eastern Europe and Asia, that we do not accept the status quo of servitude aggressive Soviet Communism has imposed on them, and eventual liberation is an essential and enduring part of our foreign policy". The
US , an imperialist country, also needed to capture new markets for goods and investment of capital. The US also wanted to seize Korea as bridgehead for invading the Asian continent.
Thirdly , the US National Security Council on the 14th of April 1950 actually ordered the invasion of the DPRK in a secret 58 page document known as "NSC 68".
Fourthly , John Foster Dulles the architect of "rollback " visited south Korea on June 18th 1950 7 days before the war. Why was Dulles in south Korea at that time ? Dulles addressed the south Korean "National Assembly " saying ""You are not alone. You will never be alone so long as you con¬tinue to play worthily your part in the great design for the freedom of human beings" .What did this mean ?. Clearly Dulles visit to south Korea only a week before war broke out cannot have been a coincidence and his words to the south Korean "National Assembly " were an incitement to war , a signal to the south Korean puppets to start the war.

3.DPRK SUCCESSFULLY TEST-FIRES HWASONG-10 ROCKET
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, guided the test-fire of surface-to-surface medium long-range strategic ballistic rocket Hwasong-10.
At a watch post he gave an order to conduct the test-fire after hearing a report on its plan.
The test-fire of Hwasong-10 was carried out by the high-angle fire system under the simulation of its maximum range.
The ballistic rocket took off a self-propelled launching pad and accurately landed in the targeted waters 400km away after flying to the maximum altitude of 1 413. 6km along the planned flight orbit.
The test-fire confirmed the flying kinetic feature of Korean-style ballistic rocket with an updated system and its safety and control as well as the technical specifications of newly-designed rocket structure and its dynamic system. It also verified the heat-resistance capability of warhead in the re-entry section and its flight stability.
It provided a sure sci-tech guarantee for developing the system of strategic weapons.
The test-fire was successfully conducted without affecting the security of a surrounding country even a bit.
Expressing great satisfaction over the test results, he said with joy that this happy news would give the conviction in sure victory and optimism to the army and people of the DPRK and that it was a great event as it strikingly demonstrated again the invincible might of Juche Korea.
Not only the enemy but also the whole world may properly assess the capability of the DPRK's medium long-range strategic ballistic rocket by watching its flight track only, he said, declaring with conviction: We have the sure capability to attack in an overall and practical way the Americans in the Pacific operation theatre.
To reliably defend the security of the country and its people from the constant threats of the U.S and other hostile forces, we should have the powerful offensive means capable of posing a constant threat to the enemy, he said, adding: It is necessary to increase in a sustained way our preemptive nuclear attack capability and continue the study and development of diverse strategic attack weapons.
The real foe our nuclear force has to confront is a nuclear war itself, he said, stressing that the nuclear attack capability should be steadily bolstered up to protect the country and its people and the Korean revolution from the U.S. imperialists' nuclear threat.
The current test-fire marked an important occasion in further strengthening the nuclear attack capability of our state, he said, stressing the need to more thoroughly establish the unitary leadership and management system over the strategic nuclear force.
In congratulation of the successful test-fire of surface to surface medium long-range strategic ballistic rocket Hwasong-10, he had a photo session with the defence science soldiers involved in the test-fire.

The test fire of the Hwasong 10 is a great cientific advance.The rocket is a product of Juche science and industry made with indigenous materials, resources , technology and labour. The DPRK's capacity for self-defence against US imperialism has been greatly augmented . This is a great achievement of the Songun revolutionary leadership of the DPRK.

4.UK KFA HOLD AGM

The UK Korean Friendship Association on the 18th of June held a seminar on the 16th anniversary of the June 15th Declaration and the 52nd anniversary of the start of work of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL , this was combined with the Annual General
Meeting of the UK Korean Friendship Association. The meeting was attended by UK KFA members and supporters as well as JISGE and ASSPUK members and a staff member of the DPRK embassy.
Dermot Hudson chairman of UK KFA opened the meeting stressing that it was important to hold the Annual General Meeting of the Korean Friendship Association as well as to celebrate the important June anniversaries of the DPRK . Comrade Hudson expressed solidarity with comrade Alejandro Cao De Benos the President of the KFA who has done more for the DPRK than anyone else.
Comrade Hudson referred to the 16th anniversary of the June 15th Declaration saying
" The June 15 declaration fully represented the will and aspirations of the entire Korean people north and south for peaceful reunification. The June 15 declaration was the precious fruit of the persevering and continuous efforts of the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il who worked day and night for reunification. It was a lofty manifestation of the DPRK's stance for independent reunification and its profoundly peace-loving policy. However, the current situation prevailing on the Korean peninsula is volatile contrary to the June 15 reunification era.
Regrettably the ideas and concepts of the June 15 declaration have been negated by the fascist Park Geun Hye puppet regime, the sworn enemies and oppressors of the south Korean people. They have trampled down the June 15 declaration and have opposed reunification. Park Geun Hye has made 14 foreign trips during the period of her rule in south Korea , these trips were to beg for co-operation against the DPRK. Supeme leader Chairman KIM JONG UN instead of making foreign trips has devoted himself to the people's wellbeing. Instead of making trips to foreign countries Park Geun Hye instead should go to Pyongyang and discuss reunification "
Comrade Hudson spoke about the start of work of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL at the CC of the WPK saying that "the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il worked hard at the central committee of the WPK to defeat the internal enemies of People's Korea and to eliminate alien and impure ideologies such as capitalism and revisionism. He developed the ideology of the WPK, the Juche idea , in depth . He wrote the famous thesis "On the Juche Idea " and also " On Some Questions on Education in the Juche Idea "...The decades of leadership and guidance of the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il to the WPK have truly been decades of victory and glory in which the socialist citadel of People's Korea was consolidated. UK KFA salutes the achievements made in guiding the WPK by eternal general secretary great comrade Kim Jong Il.
Comrade Thae Yong Ho of the DPRK Embassy did a question and answer session.
There were questions about smoking and tobacco, housing in the DPRK, the case of
the waitress abduction, the 200 Day Campaign and the Pyongyang University of Science and Technology.
Chairman Dermot Hudson spoke about the Month of Solidarity with the Korean people.
He pointed out that the US imperialists started the Korean War and committed
barbarous atrocities including massacres and germ warfare . He announced that the
UK KFA will picket the US Embassy on the 25th of June .
A report of work of UK KFA was given which outlined UK KFA's activities over the
past year and reviewed the success achieved.
Comrade David Munoz was elected Organisation Secretary of UK KFA replacing
Ryan Hermann and Comrade Daniel Braggins was elected Communications Secretary
replacing Theo Russell.
Comrade David Munoz made a speech saying that " Now I can see more activism, more organization and more discipline and attitude in our pickets. Yesterday friday we've been 9 people on the picket so I hope to see more people next week on the picket in front of the US embassy. As I said before, only our organization defends and supports the DPRK, if we are not there no one will be there. Be a true communist is to do something for the revolution not just say i support the DPRK from the sofa. We need to survive in this capitalist country, must of us probably cannot come to all meetings and pickets but we need to do efforts if we want to change the society and this is only possible with dedication, study and hard work.
-Is very important to organize more pickets always when the US Imperialist, capitalist countries or UN attacks the DPRK. We need to be there. Not thinking I will do it tomorrow. Is the same with the meeting".

5.UK KFA PICKETS SOUTH KOREAN PUPPET EMBASSY
The UK Korean Friendship Association together with the Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK and Juche Idea Study Group of England and also the New Communist Party picketed the south Korean fascist embassy on Friday 17th of June at 4pm . The picket was attended by members of UK KFA, the ASSPUK, JISGE , New Communist Party including general secretary Andy Brooks and CC members Daphne Liddle and Theo Russell , and also a member of the Communist Party of Britain.
Dr Dermot Hudson , chairman of UK KFA and President of ASSPUK said that the picket was called to protest against the abduction of the waitresses of the DPRK who were working overseas. Dr Hudson also said " As is well known to the world the south Korean puppets their agents in the National Intelligence Service recently abducted 12 young waitresses of the DPRK who were working abroad . The DPRK Red Cross has asked that they be sent back or at least allowed to meet their parents and families either at Panmunjom or in Seoul. This reasonable request has been rejected by the south Korean fascist puppets.The CPRK asked for the girls to be sent back but this was also refused.
This is another horrendous and vile crime by the south Korean fascist puppets ,whose mere existence is a blight on humanity ! The south Korean puppets are spreading all sorts of dirty lies to cover up their massive crime. As the statement of the CPRK says " The DPRK citizens abducted by the puppet forces have no ground whatsoever to defect to south Korea by abandoning their native places and parents, brothers and sisters.
It is a sheer lie that they are "admiring" south Korea, a veritable hell torn with appalling confusion, as they translated their dreams and ideals into realities under the best social system centered on the popular masses in the DPRK."
The fact is that south Korea is a real hell on earth . It is a society where the rich get ever richer and the poor get ever poorer. It is a society ruled by the Jaebols and the corrupt comprador bourgeoisie as well as their US imperialist overlords. South Korea is characterised by super exploitation , overcrowding and environmental pollution . No one in their right mind would want to live there .
We have learnt from the statements of the CPRK and the note of the chairman of the DPRK Red Cross Society , that the waitresses are now staging a hunger strike in south Korea to demand their repatriation to their socialist homeland of Juche ! This fact must be given widespread publicity in the labour and progressive movement . The south Korean fascist puppet scum should not be allowed to get away with another crime.
We support the demand of the CPRK for the families of the victims to go to Seoul and meet their daughters face to face and bring them back home as unanimously demanded by them "
Dr Hudson also called on the south Korean embassy to confirm the wellbeing of the waitresses as there were rumours that one had died on hunger strike.

First of all and as I did on Twitter, thanks for all the support received from the mayor of my village, the government of the Republic, comrades from PCPE, the PC-AP in Chile and the Mapuche people, members of the KFA, lawyers and so many friends around the world. I have received thousands of messages, even from people who I don't know, who have volunteered to help in anything I needed. I'm perfectly and no pressure will change my ideology and activities with Korea. Since Friday, starting with A3 Public Mirror, I started to clarify things with the lies and manipulations of the media:
- I have nothing to do with any contraband or weapons traffic . I'll sue the newspapers and media which have linked me with that plot.
- I don't know any of the people in that group.
- I haven't handled any weapons and machines, drills, etc. that appear on the TV have nothing to do with the record in my home.
-People around me haven't been arrested: Family, friends, etc.
- As I stated in Public Mirror, they have distorted information mixing images with labels saying they were mine.
- My detention is for unlawful possession of weapons, (detonators or blanks), which I bought online that do not meet safety requirements.
- I didn't declare for indication of my Lawyer, but I decided to speak publicly tired of so much manipulation and lies.
- I've had a gun license (riffle and pistol) and I have practiced target shooting in Spain for two decades. Passing all tests regularly during that time until recently, the Director General of the Civil Guard forced me to place them in the headquarters of Tarragona for a manipulated comment in A3 Media.
I repeat: I have no criminal record, previous problem or complaint. They withdrew my sporting weapons exclusively by a comment in A3. These cases are ongoing in the respective High Courts.
- The treatment of the Civil Guard who came to my house and made the record, since other agents Commander was always polite and respectful. Not so the conditions of the van and one of the agents who transferred me to court. The van (I think tuition PGC-1212-P), was full of dirt, blood, feces and all kinds of secretions. I asked the agent why thet don't clean it and he said 'Don't complain, here you can even eat soup'. Then he replied 'There is no money to change the van,' and I said 'humility does not justify the lack of cleanliness'.
I take this opportunity to apply for equal pay for officers of the Civil Guard, more resources so that they can have decent uniforms (not deficient ones that are manufactured in Pontevedra), maintenance of facilities and equipment that falls to pieces, and that agents may have in general, a life with their families, because they also pay mortgage and are entitled to vacation. The truth is that most agents have shown me being professionals who take their chances, with few means to maintain some order in a society with many problems. (I say this based on my experience Commander down. Upwards I do not know if bear the same situation. The Colonel, he simply asked by phone if during registration I was calm).
I have the full support of the Government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Committee for Cultural Relations with whom work more than 25 years ago and the Embassy of the DPRK in Spain. This situation won't affect at all my honorary functions.
- Many people and media ask me if I think there is a political persecution or orchestrated operation to silence me and destroy my public image, my answer is 'better to draw your own conclusions'.
But I will say that since 2 years ago, my friends in security forces have warned me state up to 3 times: 'Alejandro, there's someone high up who is looking to cause you trouble'.

AMERICAN IMPERIALISM – A THREAT OF A THIRD WORLD WAR
"To eliminate the inevitability of war, it is necessary to destroy imperialism"

The main objective of US imperialism since the early days of the rise of the Soviet socialist state was to destroy the Soviet Union, and then the world socialist camp and that threaten the very foundations of the capitalist system. But the strategic goal of the United States along with this was inseparably part of pursued plans for world domination. After the destruction of socialism, Washington set the goal to establish in the Soviet Union a political regime that a) would not have a strong military capacity, b) economically is largely dependent on the outside world "( from NSC 20/1 Directive).
The first post-Soviet US National Security Strategy says it clearly: "Our main goal is to prevent the emergence of a new rival, either on the territory of the former Soviet Union or elsewhere, that would represent a threat comparable to that posed by the Soviet Union. Our strategy should be to prevent the emergence of any potential global rival."
After the destruction of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Treaty Organization, Russia's leadership in the face of Yeltsin and his successor like a vassal, trailed in the wake of an aggressive US foreign policy, betraying national interests. The past 2015 was a milestone in this regard. Today, Russia is pursuing a more or less independent foreign policy.
The decisive event of a change in Russia's foreign policy was the return of the Crimea and Sevastopol into the fold of Russia and then began in response to the request of the authorities of Syria an operation of air strikes by Russian forces.
Crimean reunification with Russia caused a flurry of screams by the West about the "aggression" of Russia, because the unification of fraternal Slavic peoples of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine would represent a solid basis for the integration on the former Soviet Union, and a serious challenge to the plans of the West. The United States immediately declared that "America will not permit the integration on the former Soviet Union " (H.Clinton).
The fact that the post-Soviet integration takes place on a capitalist basis, does not detract from its value as a powerful political factor in the formation of new international relations, as opposed to the unipolar US imperialist dictates.
Now it is rapidly gaining momentum, post-Soviet and Eurasian integration. Russia, possessing powerful economic potential and a military-industrial complex (inherited from the USSR), is acting as a leading force to consolidate the processes of conducting a policy independent from the US.
Under the chairmanship of Russia (April 2015 - February 2016) BRICS countries (Russia, China, India, Brazil and South Africa) is transformed into a mechanism for strategic cooperation between the world's largest countries on the key issues of world politics and economy. At the July summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO - Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), also chaired by Russia, the political decision to expand the SCO was adopted, providing for the launch of the reception procedure into the organization of India and Pakistan, granting Belarus and Iran the status of observer, and Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, and Nepal - dialogue partners.
A new stage in the development of the Eurasian integration process began on January 1, 2015 with the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC - previously EurAsEC) of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, who were joined by Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. The EAEC is expanding further beyond the territory of the member-states. Vietnam signed a free trade agreement with the EAEC. India, Egypt, Iran and other states are also showing interest in concluding similar agreements.
During the summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Dushanbe, member states unanimously called for the improvement of the military component of the Organization. Belarus remains a key strategic ally of Russia held joint military exercises "Union Shield-2015". Ongoing is the development of the strategic partnership with Kazakhstan.
Russia is significantly expanding its ties with the Asia-Pacific region (APR). Russia's relations with India and Vietnam are becoming more widespread. A significant factor in world politics were Russia's strategic alliance with China , which cooperate in such areas as the UN and its Security Council, BRICS, SCO, "the Group of Twenty."
Gaining momentum is Russian cooperation with the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, Peru).
Countries of the former Soviet Union (except the Baltic states, Georgia, Ukraine (Kiev junta) and Moldova), are drawn to Russia, to secure their own safety and independence. Russia has provided the necessary political support to the people of Donbass, but the Kiev authorities sabotages the Minsk agreement, relying on military intervention (based on the military and financial support of the US). On the basis of concluded agreements, Russia provides security and support to Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Transnistria from the blockade by Moldova and Ukraine.
Contrary to the position of Washington and Brussels, even some EU countries, including Austria, Hungary, Greece, Cyprus, are increasing economic relations with Russia.
One cannot but agree on what the Russian Foreign Ministry says: The current NATO-led policy of "containment" of Russia, embodied in increasing its military presence in Eastern Europe and the Baltic states, in increasing the number and intensity of exercises near the Russian borders, the establishment of European and Asian segments of the global missile defence of the United States, to work on tightening European countries and North-East Asia, forcing Russia to take measures to address threats which the North Atlantic alliance creates for Russia's national security .
Russia is taking strong measures to strengthen its combat capability of the Armed Forces, the military-industrial complex and the strategic nuclear triad.
In February 2015, the US Congress approved a new National Security Strategy, defining US foreign policy. This document firmly orients US policy on the preservation of world domination with reliance on military force. Here are the basic points of the Strategy:
"There is no substitute to the American leadership nor the face of aggression, either in matters of universal values ... We need to lead, leading the world in the future ... We will lead from a position of strength ... American exclusivism is based on the strength of our arms and the economy ... the United States will use military force, and if need be, to use it unilaterally ... Our armed forces are deployed all over the world ... The armed forces of the United States is willing to use military force anywhere in the world, banning and stopping aggression on multiple theatres of war ... ".
US President Barack Obama (manager of American multinational corporations and the military industrial complex) in his speech on the Strategy-2015 definitely says: "Global leadership by America remains indispensable. We recognize our crucial role ... ".
A special place in the strategy is paid to US economic power: "A strong economy, coupled with a significant US presence in the global financial system creates favourable opportunities to strengthen our security ... To preserve our sustainable leadership, we need to shape the contours of a new world economic order, which will continue to reflect our interests and values ... ".
The US Strategy 2015, Russia is declared a threat and aggressor a record number of times. The new US strategy is a doctrine of war against Russia.
"Our difficult times demonstrated the strength and importance of American leadership being indispensable in the world. We have mobilized and led the international effort to punish Russia and countering its aggression ... Targeted economic sanctions remain an effective instrument of punishment and pressure ... The potential of India, the rise of China and the aggressiveness of Russia significantly affect the prospects of relations between the major powers ... We will deter Russian aggression, watching vigilantly for its strategic potential ... ".
In the same 2015, the United States adopted a new military doctrine, which states: "... The US military is ready to redeploy troops to any point on the globe and by intimidation prevent the enemy to achieve their goals or decisively to crush anyone who threatens the United States, our national interests, our allies and partners". Especially in the new military strategy it emphasizes that "... in the future, our troops will have to act on the disputed territory" (i.e. by military occupation).
In the US imperialist strategy is given the top military means to achieve its dominance in the world:
- North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) "NATO today is stronger and more united than it has ever been, especially in connection with the efforts of the Scandinavian countries and new members, such as Poland and the Baltic States ";
- In the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region: the military-strategic US economic partnership primarily with Japan, South Korea, Israel and the Gulf monarchies ;
- Forward presence of US military forces in the key areas of the world (including the placement on airbases of the nuclear aircraft).
(No country in the world has to its credit so many military bases outside its territory, as the United States does).
- "Democratization" of "authoritarian regimes", "hybrid warfare" or "colour revolutions" (in the example of the Middle East);
- global modernization of US military capabilities, primarily - strategic nuclear forces :
"We need to pass extremely important reforms in order to create universal combat use and adapt quickly to changes in the situation of the armed forces .... We will defend our investment in basic military capabilities, what are the nuclear deterrent ... We will increase investment in such important areas as cyber security, space exploration. "
US military doctrine does not tolerate any competition in the field of military technology, because it "throws a challenge to those advantages that for a long time been to the United States in areas such as, for example, early warning and precision strikes".
In the 2015 strategy, all regions of the world are included in the list of "essential" to the interests of the United States " ... from the Middle East and Ukraine to Southeast Asia and the Americas ... ». Special emphasis is placed on " rebalancing efforts in the direction of Asia and the Pacific " - a significant increase in military presence (on the pretext of its nuclear and missile tests by the DPRK) and the provision of US economic dominance in the region (with a turnover of more than 40% of world trade). Japan has changed the status of its "self-defence forces", giving them the right to act outside the territory of the country (Japan every year more impudently declares its territorial claims to Russia). Urgent formation under the auspices of the US Trans-Pacific and Trans-Atlantic Partnership (without Russia) called upon the US plans to isolate Russia and China, and to engage in the sphere of influence of the US neo-colonial countries of the Asia-Pacific region and Latin America . "... We will put the United States at the centre of a free trade zone, covering 2/3 of the global economy."
NATO's eastward expansion - is the main US military strategy (NATO is armed with Hitler's strategy of "Drang nach Osten"):
"We will strongly and firmly support the efforts of the Balkan states and Eastern Europe towards Euro-Atlantic integration and will continue to transform our relations with Turkey and to strengthen ties with the countries of the Caucasus ... NATO is the most powerful alliance that has ever existed. This is the central node of the expanding global security network ... We provide a dynamic presence (military - ed.) in Central and Eastern Europe in the interests of deterring future Russian aggression ... We will support such partners like Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, so that they can work better together with the US and NATO ... "
US energetically pulls into in NATO countries of the former Warsaw Pact and the socialist camp, as well as part of the USSR (Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova). The strategy of the Pentagon is that these countries play the role of a springboard for military strikes, including nuclear aircraft on vital areas of Russia." American strategists prefer a closed loop of air forces around Russia and to gradually squeeze it until Russia suffocates ... Military bases will be closer to the centre of Russia and they will carry out continuous air raids and missile attacks" (see .: Towards a third world war. The US military plans against the Soviet Union. Documents. M 1982 ).
NATO is expanding on an unprecedented scale. In 1999, into NATO entered Hungary, Czech Republic and Poland, in 2004 - Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria in 2009 - Albania and Croatia. Today Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia and Ukraine are actively preparing to join the bloc. In the scope of the Alliance's interests are involved, Finland, Sweden, Serbia and Moldova.
According to the Russian Defence Ministry, only in 2015 in the Baltic States, Poland and Romania, NATO troops had increased the aircraft number by 8 times, and the number of troops by 13 times. On their territory were airlifted an additional 300 tanks and infantry combat vehicles, artillery systems have been moved in. In Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany and Turkey are about 200 US nuclear bombs at six US airbases. At the same time as carriers of nuclear bombs, in addition to American planes, can also be used airplanes by allies in NATO. NATO planes are designed to strike using these bombs and are on a constant vigil on the base of Zoknay near Siauliai (Lithuania) and on the base of Emery near Tallinn. On a state of constant combat readiness of NATO in the immediate vicinity of the Russian Federation (Lithuania, Estonia, Norway) are 310 aircraft carrying nuclear weapons. The Norwegian military bases ply US submarine boats with nuclear warheads.
In 2015, NATO members held US-Georgian military exercises in the Baltic Sea area, military air exercises of NATO forces in the north, military exercises with the Ukrainian Bandera and others. In Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria have been deployed six operational military bases. NATO members are training pilots from European non-nuclear countries to use nuclear weapons.
NATO military exercise "Allied Shield" (2015) showed, as stated by NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General and Chief of the United armed forces of NATO in Europe, General Philip Breedlove, that "the North Atlantic Alliance can deploy forces anywhere on the territory of NATO in a few days in case of threat to the allies ... ". Pentagon hawks did not hide the fact that NATO military exercises were targeted against Russia: "Russia's policy is a challenge for the Alliance and since the end of the "Cold War" world order."
The American imperialists are purposefully building up the US missile defence system and NATO EUROPRO . In addition to the missiles and radar defence system are deployed on the territory of the United States, Western Europe, the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, missiles and early warning radar installed near Russia, Alaska , in the Mediterranean Sea 24 destroyers with 111 interceptor missiles located (which "swim" in the Black sea ), missile defence systems are deployed in Romania and Poland . Radar defence system deployed in the countries of the Baltic States, Turkey and Japan.
From the White House sounded the call for Russia to start new negotiations on further reductions of nuclear weapons (which Russia has already reduced to the level of the late 1950s - early 60-s. START-3 Treaty was signed with President Medvedev). The Russian Foreign Ministry spoke on the impossibility of further negotiations. In response, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that further negotiations are not possible without connecting to the dialogue of all states possessing nuclear weapons-grade material. Washington is stepping up efforts to build a global missile defence system, it continues to develop non-nuclear high-precision weapons, capable of inflicting a disarming strike by area-based nuclear forces of the enemy (Concept rapid global strike). Washington carries the arms race into space, tears up negotiations on the prohibition of nuclear tests, and finally, there remains a serious imbalance in the field of conventional weapons in Europe.
The US is planning global modernization of its strategic offensive forces and equipping them with new weapons. For these purposes it is planned to allocate a trillion dollars (not including missile defence and space). The White House plans to build 12 new nuclear submarines, 100 strategic bombers, 400 land-based ICBMs and up to 1100 cruise missiles, as well as to deploy to troops a large number of modernized nuclear warheads and bombs, which will be delivered to the objectives by all of these means. "It is clear that in the future, the Russians focus their efforts on increasing nuclear power. And the fact that Russia, more and more relies on its nuclear force, rather than on conventional weapons, confirms the importance of the expansion of our nuclear potential as a modern force," said hawk US Defense Secretary Robert Gates a few years ago.
A new round of the arms race and militarization providing excessive profits to the US military-industrial complex (which produces the weapons and to our partners in Europe). US military spending over military spending of all countries of the world combined, and NATO military spending is 10 times higher than Russia's expense (the US share of total NATO defence spending amounts to about 70%). European Union countries "took visor" to US calls for the termination of reduction in military spending. Romania, along with Poland and the Baltic States, call on NATO and the United States' for "an alliance to strengthen its military presence in their territory and carry out redeployment of its troops to the eastern border. The US intends in 2017 to increase more than four times the funding for the placement of weapons and military equipment in Eastern and Central Europe.
In the bowels of the US intelligence agencies developed plans for a nuclear war against Russia have not stopped since the United States first took possession of nuclear weapons. The US plan "Dropshot" (1947), provided for 30 days to carry out the atomic bombing of 70 Soviet cities with the expectation that at the same time, millions of people would be killed. In the years of detente in the 1970’s, in the US plans were not 70 targets for a nuclear strike on the Soviet Union. For nuclear weapons were already in Western Europe, especially in Germany, and planned well over 2500 important targets between the Elbe and the Urals, of which 1/3 was in the Soviet Union and about 2/3 were located on the territory of other countries of the Warsaw Pact.
Current warmongering US military strategy, the US escalation of the NATO bloc and bloody conflicts in all regions of the world, along with continuing persistent expansion of NATO to the East and a global modernization of US nuclear forces, leave no doubt that the US hawks now plan to develop a nuclear war against Russia. Confirmation of this are the new recently declassified documents on planning by the Strategic Air Command in the United States in the 1950-s of a nuclear war against the Soviet Union and other Warsaw Pact countries and China. In these monstrous US plans in the 800-page listing the exact goals and military means were plans for the atomic bombing of the overwhelming majority of Eurasia, from Eastern Europe to China, from Warsaw, East Berlin, Moscow and Leningrad, and to Beijing (scheduled to be turned into a nuclear ash 1200 urban populous areas by air strategic nuclear forces).
US imperialism's strategy contains all the essential elements of the political and military doctrines of German imperialism. Today, the US and NATO - the bulwark of world reaction and obscurantism - pose a real threat to the outbreak of World War III. As on the eve of the Second World War, the task was to unite the world against the threat of German fascism (thankfully the Soviet Union was able to form an anti-Hitler coalition), and now in front of all people on the planet is a vital task of consolidating the efforts of the countries resisting US aggressive policy and to thwart the mad plans of US imperialism.

23 FEBRUARY – HISTORY AND THE PRESENT DAY
Currently, the Russian holiday on February 23 is called the Day of Defender of the Fatherland. By this name they try to hide its former name - the Day of the Soviet Army and Navy (Day of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army and Navy). As for the defenders of the fatherland in the pre-Soviet period of our history, such as the war with Napoleon and Russian-Turkish wars, their memory is more appropriate to celebrate in other dates corresponding to the specific historical events. But February 23, in the first place we are celebrating the creation of the Red Army - the army that won the Civil War, crushed the White and other enemies of the Soviet power (the predecessors of present liberals, monarchists and nationalists) and then defeated Nazi Germany and militarist Japan, saving the world from Fascism and reactionary imperialist enslavement.
Now the "patriots" -monarchists in unison with the pro-Western liberals they seemingly hate so much, love to gloat over the fact that in February 1918 the Bolsheviks could not give a fitting rebuff to the Germans.
Yes, in the first days of its existence, the Red Army forces were insufficient. It had to go to the harsh conditions of the Brest peace. But this made it possible to gain time and to deal with other, no less than the Kaiser's army, danger that Soviet Russia was presented with at the beginning of a civil war that is the Whites, so loved by the current anti-Soviet kind.
About the who started the Civil War.
Civil War begins by the side that is not in power.
In history there are examples when the socialist revolution begins with civil war.
The Cuban Revolution, for example, took place in this way.
In Russia, the Bolsheviks on the eve of World War I, immediately and unhesitatingly raised the banner of anti-imperialist slaughter. But they were not pacifists, only sighing about peace. They attributed the cause of peace with the case of the victory of the proletarian revolution.
Against the Menshevik and SR slogan of preserving "civil peace" during the war - the Bolsheviks advanced the slogan of "converting the imperialist war into a civil war". This slogan meant that workers, armed workers and peasants, including those dressed in soldiers' uniforms must turn their weapons against their own bourgeoisie and overthrow its power, if they want to get rid of war and achieve a just peace.
Armed Russian mass of workers and peasants under the leadership of the Bolshevik Party successfully carried out a socialist revolution. The uprising won, the opponent failed to provide sufficient resistance and across the country was quickly established Soviet power.
However, the classes overthrown as a result of the socialist revolution did not want to give up their privileges, and now they started a civil war when they were able to gather their "white" army together.
Today, bourgeois propaganda is trying to suggest that a civil war is "pointless", "fratricidal" and so on. In this note, all these negative epithets they relate exclusively to the actions of the Reds.
Under the influence of this propaganda, even some of those who call themselves communists, begin to believe that the Civil War is a "terrible catastrophe".
Of course, civil war has become an ordeal, but to bear it and smashing the enemies of the working people the Soviet Republic proved its viability.
In the Civil War on the side of the white invaders were attended by the Entente countries, in which these "guardians of the national interest" does not disdain. The Red Army was able to defeat the invaders from 14 states, expelling them from our territory, to defend the honour and independence of the socialist homeland. The beat other enemies too - a variety of nationalists in Ukraine, the Caucasus and Central Asia.
Lenin said: "Revolution is war. This is the only lawful, rightful, just, and truly great war of all wars which history knows. This war is not conducted in the selfish interests of a handful of rulers and exploiters, like all sorts of war, but in the interests of the masses of the people against the tyrants, in the interests of millions and tens of millions of working and exploited people against tyranny and violence. "
A special celebration of victory in the Civil War was not established. It is not because, as some now argue, it is considered inappropriate. No, this victory we are deservedly proud of, and in fact the heroes of that war were honoured during the celebration of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army and Navy Day.
After the Civil War, the Red Army adequately fulfilled its duty to protect the Socialist Fatherland.
During the Second World War, the Red Soviet Army, the army of the working people, proved that it has no equal in the world.
After the war, the country's defence was at a high level, therefore, the enemies decided not to try to deal with the Soviet Union in a new world war.
Unfortunately, the betrayal of the Communist Party CPSU leadership and the country's socialist state, meant the Soviet Army was unable to defend ...
But the hour cometh, when February 23 will once again be celebrating the Day of Defender of Socialist Fatherland!

On the eve of the coming century since the Great October Socialist Revolution, brighter and visibly seen is the greatness of the feat of the revolutionary Bolsheviks who entered into an open battle with the rulers of the old world of oppression and injustice, for the liberation of mankind from the yoke of ruthless capitalist exploitation of working people.
In October 1917 Socialist Revolution triumphed. The spread of Soviet power, according to VI Lenin, went around the country, on a "triumphant march".
The leaders of the Russian proletariat, raised the masses to the revolutionary transformation of the old world, clearly articulated ideological and political thesis that a revolution is worth nothing unless it can defend itself.
Practical implementation of this state-political organizational thesis was embodied in the published on 15 (28) January 1918 Decree SNK RSFSR, signed by VI Lenin, on the organization of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army, and at the end of the month – the Decree on the establishment of the Navy.
The Red Army was created on a voluntary basis of the most class-conscious workers and poor peasants who were ready to give their lives for the strength and protection of the Soviet Republic. Those joining the ranks of the Red Army were to represent the recommendations of military committees, the Bolshevik Party organizations or other organizations standing on the platform of Soviet power. The Red Army and became one of the armed force that was able to defend the conquests of the Revolution, the conquest of the working people from its class enemies.
But the position of the Soviet regime could not be regarded as fully secure, while Russia was at war with Germany and Austria. It was necessary to get to an early treaty for "a just and democratic world." The Leninist party in every possible way was interfered by Trotsky and Bukharin who called their own hostile party grouping the "Left Communists." They carried on a provocative policy, skilfully masked by Leftist phrases.
Trotsky, who headed the Soviet delegation at Brest-Litovsk in the negotiations with the Germans for the conclusion of peace with co- comrades on February 10, 1918 thwarted the negotiations.
German troops launched an offensive. Remains of the old Russian army could not resist the onslaught of the German troops and began to disperse. The Germans moved quickly, seizing vast territory, threatening Petrograd and the Revolution. German imperialism having invaded the Soviet Union, aimed to overthrow Soviet power and to turn our country into a colony. The old, collapsing royal army could not resist the armed hordes of German imperialism. It rolled back rolled under the blows of the German army.
But the armed intervention of the German imperialists provoked a powerful revolutionary upsurge in the country. In response to the call by the party and the Soviet government “The Socialist Fatherland is in danger!" the working class responded with an enhanced formation of the Red Army. Young detachments of the new army - the army of the revolutionary people - heroically repulsed the attacks of the German armed to the teeth predator. Around Narva and Pskov the German invaders were given a decisive rebuff. Their advance on Petrograd was suspended. The day of repelling the forces of German imperialism - Feb 23 - became the birthday of the young Red Army.
Across the country sounded out loud like banners during our Great Victory.
The echo of the glorious battles far away were sung in our songs.
Born you were under the Banner of scarlet in the 1918-th terrible year.
All the enemies you always lamented. Victory over the hordes of fascists.

KFA SLAMS UK PARTICIPATION IN FOAL EAGLE AND KEY RESOLVE

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a statementtotally and without reservation condemns the participation of armed forces from the UK in the aggressive war exercise of the US imperialists "Foal Eagle " and "Key Resolve".
"Foal Eagle" and "Key Resolve " are not defensive exercises but a dry run for invading the DPRK and achieving "regime change ". The exercises are large in scale and scope involving more than 15,000 US imperialist troops and include so-called 'beheading operations' aimed at the murder of the Supreme leadership of the DPRK as well strikes on nuclear and rocket facilities of the DPRK. It is a sheer disgrace that UK troops should be involved in this blatantly imperialistic aggressive warmongering exercises thousands of miles from the shores of the UK.
It is also amazing that at a time when the UK budget deficit is spiralling out of control, public spending is being deeply cut and millions face austerity that money can somehow be found to join in the gung-ho war-games of the Yankees.
It is also hypocrisy for the UK to noisily condemn the DPRK over the recent nuclear test but to then participate in nuclear war-games against it.
"Foal Eagle " and "Key Resolve" along with the UNSC sanctions against the DPRK have brought the situation in Korea to a state of near war. It is the British government happy to sacrifice the lives of it soldiers just as it was in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Instead joining the US war games against the DPRK Britain should pursue an independent policy and respect the independence and sovereignty of the DPRK. The British government must break with the hostile anti-DPRK policies and not repeat the tragic past history which included British troops acting as mercenaries for US imperialism in the past Korean war. This action in fighting against the Korean people , holding back reunification brought shame and dishonour on the UK.
Our organisations, the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA, denounce the UK government for its support for the reactionary and draconian UNSC santions against the DPRK.
The labour, progressive, peace and anti imperialist movement of the UK must campaign against the UK's participation in "Foal Eagle " and "Key Resolve".

Now the situation on the Korean peninsula is becoming extremely tense as Foal Eagle and Key Resolve have entered a dangerous phase. Now largest-ever Ssangyong drill being staged in the Phohang area of south Korea is the climax of OPLAN 5015 to "bring down the social system" by striking the supreme headquarters and major core facilities in the Democratic Peoples's Republic of Korea (DPRK) through the "operation to advance into Pyongyang" accompanied by a sudden surprise landing on the DPRK. These exercises include beach landings which are clearly a dry run for the invasion of the DPRK.This in an intolerable provocation and challenge to the DPRK. It is clearly a declaration of the intention to effect 'regime change' by military means and cannot be ignored.
We support the militant and revolutionary declaration of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army to mount pre-emptive and retaliatory strikes against the US imperialists and the south Korean puppets. The KPA General Staff has declared that it will be Juche-orientated mode of counter-action against the US imperialists and south Korean puppets. Moreover the KPA General Staff makes it clear that the KPA will go into an operation to liberate the whole of south Korea . This will be a revolutionary act of achieving national and class liberation in one go and will reunify the divided Korean motherland .

WHY SANCTIONS CANNOT DEFEAT PEOPLE'S KOREA !


On the 2nd of March the UN Security Council voted to impose wide ranging , extensive and quite draconian sanctions on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea . Some so-called 'friends' of the DPRK, supposed anti-imperialist states shamefully supported the US imperialists and voted for the sanctions. In fact a certain big power even sat down together with the US imperialists to draft the sanctions. Earlier the US senate voted with no opposition to impose US sanctions on the DPRK on the top of the numerous existing US sanctions. Japan also imposed sanctions on the DPRK.The DPRK is facing a barrage of sanctions from the UN, US, EU, Japan , south Korea and others .
The latest UNSC sanctions basically put severe restrictions on the DPRK trading and finances. They are a flagrant violation of the DPRK's sovereignty and independence by US and world imperialism in the form of the UNSC. The sanctions are nothing but a US led conspiracy to try to strange the DPRK economy and effect regime change in People's Korea ,toppling the socialist system and replacing it with a dependent capitalist state.
It is indeed shameful that a so-called socialist country connived at the passage of the UNSC sanctions. The call for the DPRK to return to the six-party talks is but a fig leaf to destroy socialism in People's Korea by forcing 'reform ' and 'opening up' on the DPRK which has been so disastrous elsewhere.
Some people ask , how can People's Korea survive these sanctions ? What will happen ? Well first of all sanctions are not new for the DPRK . In fact the DPRK is one of the most sanctioned countries in the world.
The US first imposed sanctions on the DPRK in 1950 .The US fabricated about 40 acts against the DPRK since the 1950s such as Act of Export Control (June 28, 1950,) the Act of Trade with Enemy State (December 17, 1950,) the Act of External Aid (August 1,1962)the Wassenaar Arrangement (July 12, 1996) and the Act of International Financial Structure (1994.) By these acts,all economic sectors of the DPRK are under sanctions and she has been prohibited to make trade, financial transactions and the exchange of science and technology. In the past decade the UN Security Council under the baton of the US imperialists adopted sanctions against the DPRK under the pretext of the DPRK's nuclear test and the satellite launches imposed sanctions in 2006,2009 ,2012 and 2013. These sanctions were unable to check either the DPRK's nuclear and space programmes not the massive construction programme which saw multi-storied buildings rise one after in quick succession.
In fact in the late 1950s when the sanctions and blockade of the US imperialists and other Western countries was most intense and the DPRK faced pressure from the big power chauvinists and revisionists . This did not impede the growth of the DPRK ,instead the Korean people under the leadership of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG launched the Chollima movement(Chollima being the legendary winged horse of Korea that can cover thousands of miles in a day). Industrial output value soared by 36% per year !
Two Western academic experts Brun and Hersh in their book 'Socialist Korea' wrote"when it is considered that one of the most acute problems in industrial
development of nations with a low starting point is created by the competition
of 'advanced' nations one can grasp the short sightedness of the embargo policy...Thus strange as it may appear the effects of the Western embargo against the Asian socialist countries may have been far different than those intended".
During the early 1960s rather than being the great benefactor of the DPRK that some imagine the Soviet Union suspended economic co-operation with the DPRK basically imposing its own sanctions on the DPRK because the DPRK refused to follow its revisionist policies. President KIM IL SUNG said that "The revisionists fell on their knees before the threat and blackmail of the US imperialists and capitulated against the interests of the revolution". He further explained that some difficulties in the implementation of the Seven Year Pan had been caused by the revisionists but stressed that "We could not give up our revolutionary principles and toe the line of the revisionists capitulation just for a few more tons of steel".
Secondly, the sanctions will fail because of the Juche Idea , the policy of self-reliance and self-development and the power of the independent , Juche-based economy of the DPRK.

The great leader President KIM IL SUNG stressed that the Juche Idea itself is a weapon to combat imperialist sanctions and blockade saying that ; "The United States, Japan and other modern imperialist states are now blockading our country in the political, economic and military spheres. But the Korean communists have a sufficient amount of vitamins of the Juche type with which to frustrate that blockade. The attempt to conquer the Workers’ Party of Korea, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Korean people by military means or to stifle them politically and economically is a wild daydream, like an attempt to break a rock with an egg-After the evacuation of the guerrilla zones, small units and political workers actively infiltrated into the homeland. The seeds of the revolution were sown in the vast lands of Manchuria and Korea.
This wise teaching perceptively foresaw the desperate attempts of the US imperialists and UNSC.
The DPRK's independent national economy can produce almost any product from a wrist watch to a nuclear missile. In the 1970s the DPRK was able to produce 98% of its own machinery and 75% of fuel and industrial materials. Foreign trade is a small percentage of gross national product in the DPRK unlike the south Korean puppet regime which has 88% of its gross national product
coming from foreign trade and is therefore highly dependent. Thus a large part of the DPRK's GDP would be unaffected by sanctions.
The DPRK's Juche-based independent national economy is strong .You cannot see foreign owned banks towering above the streets of Pyongyang. The DPRK economy is owned and run ,basically, by the Korean people.
A typical example of the DPRK's Juche-based self-reliant independent national economy is Vinalon ,a synthetic fibre produced from limestone which means that the DPRK does not need to import cotton .The DPRK perfected a Juche-based method of iron and steel production without coking coal .In recent years the DPRK has succeeded in making a tube train with indigenous resources and technology as well as a light aeroplane and of course the satellite Kwangmyongsong 4 was launched using resources and materials of the DPRK.
Dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN has strongly emphasised the self-development first principle saying "Worship of big countries and dependence on foreign forces is the road to national ruin; self-development alone is the road to sustaining the dignity of our country and our nation and to paving a broad avenue for the revolution and construction”.
Although the UNSC , US , Japanese , EU and south Korean sanctions may cause some short term and temporary problems , the DPRK will fight back with the spirit of self-reliance, upholding the Juche idea and upholding the self-development first principle. The DPRK does not need foreign banks etc, it needs Juche, it needs self-reliance , it needs self-development . There will be greater import substitution which will strengthen the national economy greatly and led to further spectacular development. The Korean people will end the disease of import dependency totally by upholding respected Marshal KIM JONG UN's great teachings on self-development. The Korean people will smash the imperialist sanctions with Juche ,self-reliance and self-development !

On this day, AUCPB organizations held traditional rallies, meetings and picketing. Where local authorities banned rallies, "one-man" pickets at permitted places. At events organized by the party organizations of the AUCPB together with other parties of the communist direction, the Bolsheviks celebrated the huge role V.I. Lenin played as a theorist and practitioner of the communist movement, as the creator of Bolshevism - a guide to action in the class struggle of the proletariat, as the founder of the Communist Party to head the victorious Great October Socialist Revolution, as the creator of the world's first socialist state. USSR Below we provide information on some of the events held.
In Moscow was held the traditional laying of flowers and a brief rally at the Lenin Mausoleum on Red Square. As always, the meeting began at 18-50 hours, which corresponds to the time of the death of VI Lenin. The ceremony was attended by about 200 people - representatives of almost all the communist parties and left-wing organizations in Moscow: AUCPB, RCWP, Rot Front, Communists of Russia, United Communist Party and others, and at the Mausoleum of VI Lenin red carnations were laid.
In Minsk, in an event organized by the Bolsheviks, the laying of flowers at the monument to VI Lenin (located in the centre of Minsk) was attended by representatives of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the Belarusian Communist Party of Workers (BKPT), Public Association "For democracy, social progress and justice" (DSPS), and other organizations. After laying flowers, at the gathering were the heads of organizations participating in the event who made speeches. The Secretary of the Central Committee of the AUCPB Comrade V.B. LAUNCH OF SATTELITE BY THE DPRK
The fear of execution by US forces compelled "the international community" to condemn the DPRK.
On February 7, the DPRK successfully launched from a test site Shohei in the north-west of the country of a missile carrier with an artificial Earth satellite "Kwangmyŏngsŏng -4". The satellite was launched into orbit.
We congratulate our Korean friends on a new achievement of Korean science and technology and wish them further success in the development of space technology.
However, the "international community" condemned the DPRK scientists in their yet another breakthrough in space exploration, attributing to it a purely militaristic provocative thing and there is no trace in the event. The reaction by Japan, South Korea and other countries has shown their fear of execution by the US, which is still playing the role of world policeman, again threatening the DPRK with the introduction of new sanctions against the socialist country.
We are confident that no sanctions by the reactionaries are not able to slow down the victory march of the DPRK on the way to a highly prosperous socialist state. And another victory in space exploration by Korean scientists once again remind any imperialist aggressor the ability of the DPRK to reliably defend the peaceful labour of its citizens.
We are outraged by the cowardly attitude of the Russian leadership, which has still not withdrawn from the US as a state of a perpetual vassal as a result of the counter-revolution of the 1990s, having no self-esteem, and occupies a position of loyalty to the US, as evidenced by the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry on February 7 this year.
We once again congratulate our Korean friends with another success and we wish them TO CONTINUE to keep this up.

RUSSIAN DEFENCE MINISTRY ON THE PROSPECTS OF RUSSIN-US TALKS ON REDUCTION OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS
At the present time, in contrast to what was happening in the 90s and the following years, when the country's leaders gleefully signed a capitulation agreement, the Russian government still could refuse the "attractive" US disarmament proposals.
Here is the the reply by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov to a question asked by news channel "Russia Today" on the prospects of Russian-American talks on further reductions of nuclear weapons
Question: How can you comment on the call from the White House of the US for Russia to begin talks on the further reduction of nuclear arsenals?
Answer: The position of the Russian side about the prospects for the continuation of the START negotiations, and generally to reduce nuclear weapons remains unchanged. We have crossed the line, for which bilateral US-Russian negotiations in this area are now not possible for several reasons. Firstly, we have reduced the level of available nuclear warheads and their carriers to almost those parameters that existed in the late 1950's - early 60-s. This fact is very important to understand, not only by colleagues in Washington, but all those in the international community who continue to ignore the facts, to agitate for further nuclear reductions. The Russian side proceeds from the need to connect to dialogue on the subject of all states possessing nuclear weapons capabilities. States with such potential are well aware of what is at stake. The bilateral Russian-American track is exhausted due to the "nuclear weapons-arithmetic."
The second factor, which deprives us of the opportunity to negotiate on further reductions, is down to the continuing destabilizing activities by Washington in areas such as the creation of a global missile defence system, the continuation of development of weapons tools capable of inflicting a disarming strike without the use of nuclear weapons, but a destructive force equal to the range of strategic means. I mean the "Global Strike" program. In addition, we are very concerned about the prospect of the transfer of the race of arms into outer space and insist on the need for a legally binding tool that would prohibit the deployment of shock weapons systems in outer space. There are disturbing imbalances (which are not decreasing) also in the field of conventional arms. There are serious problems associated with the lack of progress by fault of the US, on the issue of the of the Implementation of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty. The list of our concerns is not exhausted.
The third point needed to say in reaction to the "reminders" from Washington, it is a complete lack of political logic and common sense in the sentence to "disarm" in the conditions when the current US administration for a long time has made a concerted effort to undermine the defence and the defence-industrial potential of Russia , through its sanctions policy. It turns out that they are trying to weaken us via sanctions – it will not work, but, nevertheless, such attempts are being made - and at the same time calling on us for talks on further arms reductions. But this simply does not happen in reality. It cannot be seriously considered a proposal that amounts to the fact that we are "playing with only one goalpost," and, in the long run, to participate in a game without rules or the US changing rules of the game.
If and when all these circumstances change, and our concerns and priorities are taken into account, that is, when the situation will be created, guaranteed to ensure equal security for all and to the strengthening of global security on the basis of sovereign equality of States, then, probably, it will be possible to revisit the question of the continuation of negotiations. But not before.

ON THE QUESTION OF REBURIAL OF VLADIMIR ILYICH LENIN
After the stated on January 21 by President Putin negative opinion against V.I. Lenin that caused the righteous indignation of Soviet people, spokesman Peskov hastened to disguise the meaning of the president of the said stupidity. Peskov explained that it was only a "personal opinion," by the head of state.
But the opinion of the president of the country cannot be personal, more-so if it is being publicly expressed.

Nevertheless, it started another round of speculation around the Mausoleum of V.I. Lenin – about the so-called illegality of the allegedly mummification of his body, in violation of the canons of the Orthodox Church and the need to "put right the action of the Bolsheviks" in this issue

The homegrown Russian liberal intelligentsia in general is unable to calm down in this issue, and permanently aggravates the matter for discussion in society, "pressurising" President Putin, and he manoeuvres accordingly.
But, as before, and now, all the motivation of the servants of the bourgeois regime – the officials, and leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC), and the allegedly resisting them liberals testify to their pathological hatred for everything Soviet or, at least, of their historical ignorance.
Pirogov - Firstly, an embalmed body placed in a mausoleum crypt is a form of burial. Quite rare, but not unique .. THE PEOPLE HAVE REMAINED FAITHFUL TO STALIN
Towards the 60 anniversary of the anti-Stalin report of Khrushchev at the XX congress of the CPSU

A tragic date in our Soviet history is drawing nearer. Sixty years ago, on the morning of February 25, 1956 at the 20th congress of thte CPSU N. S. Khrushchev made his "secret" speech "About the personality cult and its consequences". The report at the "closed" meeting of congress responded by a deafening "echo" in all the history of the Soviet country and in world communist and labor movement and in all history of the XX century.
Some words about the status of the report. The closed meeting and the report in it didn't appear in the initial agenda of congress, and ordinary delegates of congress didn't know about it. But before congress, a meeting of the Presidium of the Central Committee and Plenum of the Central Committee (about which no information was given to the mass media), at which the question of removal at congress of a question of "cult of personality" was considered took place on February 13, 1956 and it was entrusted to N. S. Khrushchev to give at congress the report on this subject. So for the top of party, no "surprise" and "unplanned material" in Khrushchev's report existed.
The flow of the secret meeting of congress wasn't recorded in shorthand. After the end of the speech, N. A. Bulganin presiding over the meeting suggested not to open debate on the report and not to ask questions. Congress unanimously adopted the resolution "About the Cult of Personality and Its Consequences" which was published in the press, and also the resolution on mailing of the text of the report to the party organizations without its publication in the open press.
In the hours-long report, N. S. Khrushchev spoke about a cult of personality of Stalin, citing classics of Marxism who condemned "a cult of an individual", quoted Lenin "The letter to congress", supplementing it with N. K. Krupskaya's words about Stalin's personality, coolly condemned Stalin for use of the term "enemy of the people", for violation by Stalin of rules of collective leadership, repression concerning "old Bolsheviks" and delegates of the XVII Congress, exaggerated details of repressions against well-known party members. They "got" to Stalin also for exaggeration of his role in the Great Patriotic War, for deportations of entire people, for the doctors’ plot, for such "mean" manifestations of a cult of personality as songs, names of cities, the text of the Anthem of the USSR in its edition of 1944 — 1956, etc.
In a newspaper article, there is no opportunity in detail to stop on all the lies which were poured out by Khrushchev. Slanderous character of the statements containing in the report is in details exposed in the book of the American researcher Grover Furr "Anti-Stalin Podlost", M., 2007. The author reasonably draws a conclusion: "From all assersions of "the closed report" directly exposing Stalin or Beria there was nothing truthful. More precisely so: among all those from them that were given to check, all were false. As it becomes clear in the speech, Khrushchev didn't speak of anything of the kind about Stalin and Beria that would turn out to be true. In total "the closed report" is weaved entirely from jugglings".
We will give an assessment of some statements of Khrushchev in the report. About the authority of the leader and "cult of personality". Stalin said in December, 1931: "As for me, I only Lenin's pupil and the purpose of my life is to be his worthy pupil... Marxism doesn't deny the role of outstanding persons at all or that people make history... Great people are worth something only so far as they are able to understand correctly these conditions, to understand how to change them. If they don't understand these conditions and want these these conditions to change as prompted by their imagination, they, these people, get to Don Quixote's position... No, individually it is impossible to solve questions. Individual decisions are always or nearly always — one-sided decisions". F. Engels (About authority. K. Marx, F. Engels. Collected works, 2nd prod., t.18, p. 302): "Some socialists began a real crusade recently against what they call the principle of authority. It is enough to declare to them that this or that act is authoritative to condemn him. With this simplified trick, they began to abuse it to such an extent that it is necessary to consider the question slightly in more detail. Authority in the sense about which we talk of here, means imposing on us foreign will; on the other hand, authority assumes submission … anti-adventurists demand that the authoritative political state is abolished with one blow, even earlier than those social relations which generated it are abolished. They demand that abolishment of authority is the first act of a social revolution. Have these gentlemen ever seen a revolution? Revolution is, undoubtedly, the most authoritative thing that is only possible. Revolution is the act in which a part of the population imposes its will over the other part by means of guns, bayonets and guns, that is, means that are extremely authoritative. And if the won party doesn't want to lose the fruits of its efforts, it has to sustain its domination by means of that fear which inspires in reactionaries its weapon".
In the twilight of his days, Mikoyan who originally actively supported Khrushchev in his attacks on Stalin, was compelled to recognize the absurdity of the charges against Stalin of authoritarianism, in intolerance to other opinions. Remembering his participation in meetings with Stalin, Mikoyan wrote: "Each of us had the full opportunity to state and defend the opinion or the proposal. We frankly discussed the most difficult and controversial issues … meeting from Stalin in most cases his understanding and his reasonable tolerance even when our statements were obviously not to his liking. Stalin listened to who spoke to him and advised, with interest listened to disputes, skillfully drawing from them that truth which helped him to formulate afterwards the final, most expedient decisions which are given rise, thus, as a result of collective discussion. Moreover, quite often it happened when, convinced by our arguments, Stalin changed his initial point of view on this or that question". Here for you is the "cult of personality"!
About the "outgaming" by Khrushchev of Lenin’s "Letter to congress". The trick in this one was in the relying on bad memory of the listeners. Very few people remembered that Stalin quoted the annoying for him lines from this letter in his speech on October 23, 1927. Khrushchev made an impression that he had for the first time acquainted the listeners with Lenin's "testament". He gave the impression that Lenin's proposal on Stalin's resignation from the post of General Secretary was a secret. Khrushchev kept back that after acquainting delegates of the XIII congress with "The letter to congress" Stalin actually resigned, but that his resignation wasn't accepted by delegates. It is necessary to tell that already in our time, serious scientific research (was conducted see: V.A. Sakharov’s "Political testament" of Lenin. Reality of history and myths of politics. M. 2003) which showed that there are serious grounds to consider "the last of Lenin letters" (or part of them) a forgery.
Khrushchev persistently claimed that for justification of his evil affairs "Stalin created the concept "enemy of the people". Condemning this "concept", Khrushchev forgot that only 11 days before, he used it himself in a report. Then he spoke: "Trotskyists, bukharinets, bourgeois nationalists and the other worst enemies of the people, advocates of restoration of capitalism made desperate attempts to undermine from within the Leninist unity of the party ranks – and all of them racked their heads about this unity". If one is to understand seriously, it is necessary to say that the term enemy of the people (lennemi du peuple) is an invention and not by Stalin, and not by the Bolsheviks, but instead has an old origin and was widely used even during Great French revolution.
We will talk in more detail about a key subject of the report of Khrushchev: "Stalin repressions", tortures, rehabilitation. In the report it in detail sorts out the cases of R. I. Eykhe. N. I. Ezhov, Ya.E. Rudzutak, A.M Rozenblyum, I.D. Kabakov, S. V. Kosior, V. Ya. Chubar, P.P. Postyshev, A.V. Kosarev, giving to each of them certainly a positive characteristic. It is important to note that in all these cases, the accused declared that all their confessions of anti-Soviet affairs were obtained as a result of torture. Certainly in "trusting" these statements, Khrushchev says: here, everyone condemned under Stalin are innocent victims. From here already nearby and to the ordinary and nowadays (alas!) statements – "here there is no need to verify anything– a person went to prison, was shot under Stalin – this means that person is an innocent victim". At this particular time there was some strange terminology (we will notice - quite "suitable" for the purposes for the sake of which it was created): instead of "convicted", they began to speak about "victims of political repression", and instead of "pardoned by court decision" – it then became "rehabilitated". Thus the big lie about the "Stalin repressions" was born.
M. S. Solomentsev, a former member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the CPSU, the Chairman of the commission on rehabilitation already in Gorbachev times, testifies: "It is said that the necessary confessions were obtained through beatings and tortures. However I didn't see neither documents, nor hear oral statements from the victims confirming such statements about them. Owing to service circumstances, I happened to talk to many of those who suffered from the repressions. Everyone to whom I succeeded in talking to, didn't confirm cases of beatings at interrogations. Most often they answered my question with: "They didn’t touch me and as far as others are concerned, I simply don't know …"". A letter by the minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Abakumov to Stalin of July 17, 1947 with a signature stamp "top secret" is interesting. The first line of this quite voluminous document read: "I report on the organs of the MGB on the practice of carrying out investigations on the cases of spies, saboteurs, terrorists and participants of the anti-Soviet underground. Concerning those arrested who persistently resist the demands of an investigation, behave provocatively and in any ways try to sabotage the investigation or divert it from the correct path, strict measures of a detention regime under guards are applied. Such measure are as follows:
a) transfer to prison with a more rigid regime where hours of sleep are reduced and worsened the content of the food of the arrested and other domestic needs;
b) solitary confinement;
c) deprivation of walks, grocery transfers and right of reading books;
d) settlement into a punishment cell for up to 20 days.
Concerning the spies exposed by investigation, saboteurs, terrorists and other active enemies of Soviet people who impudently refuse to give away their accomplices to the organs of the MGB and don't give evidence about their criminal activity, according to the order of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (bolsheviks) of January 10 of 1939 (!), apply physical measures:
In the centre - from sanctions by the ministry of MGB USSR.
In the localities - from sanctions by ministers of the state security of the republics and chiefs of regional and regional administrations of the MGB.
The need of sanctions of the high administration by physical impact is confirmed also by indications of the former chief of the Internal prison of the MGB USSR, A.N Mironova of December 23, 1955. We read: "In the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs Internal prison beating of arrested started in December, 1952, and before, from us, employees went to Lefortovsky prison since November 6, 1952 according to instructions of the deputy minister of state security Ryumin and his deputies. We kept a book of the accounting of the use of physical application in prison. But concerning each arrestee in every case, there was permission from the corresponding deputy minister i.e. which watched certain actions. From my words it is written down truly and read to me. MIRONOV".
There is a natural question that arises – so where there are these books of the accounting of beatings? Why they aren't shown to historians, the general public? After all it is PROOF of enormous force of influence. However, up to the present the Russian government not only abstains from the publication of documents on "Stalin repressions", but also doesn't allow any researchers access to them. Is this not an attempt "to immortalize" the mythology of the report of Khrushchev, the mythology of the XX congress.
Some words about the "rehabilitation of victims of political repressions". It would have been be possible to expect that here the love of the bourgeois democrats to "legal culture" and "legality" would appear. On the contrary! Only mockery at bases of the right is it possible to call the Law of the Russian Federation "About recovery of victims of political repressions" of October 18, 1991 where in article 5 it says: "admitted not containing public danger are the below listed acts and are rehabilitated irrespective of the actual validity of charge of the person, condemned for: a) anti-Soviet propaganda and promotion; b) distribution of obviously false fabrications discrediting the Soviet political or social order". And where the classical: "the law has no retroactive force"? Here speak - those who didn't fight against Soviet power were rehabilitated as innocent, i.e. But then why and after the XX congress which opened the road of mass rehabilitation were they justified and released as a rule not by court, but the decision of the special "three" (one prosecutor, one bureaucrat of the Central Committee and one of the already rehabilitated members of the Central Committee)? Why for rehabilitation most often all there was, was a conversation of members of the commission with the prisoner and short acquaintance to his case, and the cases were destroyed afterwards?
Accusing Stalin of all mortal sins, Khrushchev on the eve of the XX congress twice during one of meetings of Presidium of the Central Committee of the CPSU spoke about Yagod and Ezhov as innocent. At first in the working legal record of a meeting it is written down as Khrushchev having said: "Ezhov, probably, isn't guilty, he is an honest person". After this he adds: "Yagod is most likely, clean".
Well, Nikita, - Ezhov and Yagod are honest and pure. And what did you do in the times as you speak, of the "Stalin repressions"?. In the report – about this….not a single word. Fine, then we shall look at documents ourselves! "After the arrival into Ukraine of loyal Stalinist Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev, we seriously started finishing off the enemies of the people" — the chief of the Ukrainian People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs Alekksandr Uspensky claimed. All those arrested (except one) were members of the Politburo, Organizational bureau, Sekrektariat of the KP(B)U. Khrushchev's attitude towards the "repressions" is characterized brightly by his speeches. "We have to conduct a resolute fight against enemies, provocateurs and slanderers — he said in June, 1938 at the XIV congress of KP(B)U. — Until then, the struggle was conducted too inertly. We have to... ruthlessly finish off the spies and traitors. It is necessary to be finish them off once and for all". The historian Yury Zhukov claims that he saw the document where Khrushchev petitions for an increase in the list of those to be convicted on "the 1st category" up to 20 000 people without instruction indications of any surnames. M. S. Solomentsev reports: "The chairman of the KGB V. Chebrikov informed me a bit later that in the Committee there are documents confirming that Khrushchev, working in Ukraine and in Moscow as the first head of the party organizations, headed the "three" according to the decision to which in Moscow some tens of thousands of people were repressed, and in Ukraine several times more". That N. S. Khrushchev intensively destroys the papers in the archives compromising him, was almost openly spoke about in the years before his "leaving" in resignation. According to the historian V.P. Naumov: "In 1955 according to Khrushchev's order, Beria's papers, documents on Stalin and on other heads of party were destroyed. In total 11 sackloads of papers were destroyed. The more reliably the documents disappeared, the more Khrushchev especially emotionally condemned the crimes in which he himself took part in".
It is interesting to see in an interview by V.P. Pronin, the chairman of the Moscow Soviet from April, 1939 to 1945 published in "The military and historical magazine" No. 10 for 1991. "Many heads of the districts were negative towards Khrushchev. And here is why. Khrushchev was semiliterate person, that was his problem. He actively promoted repressions. The matter is, that over him hung the sword of Damocles. In 1920, Khrushchev voted for the Trotskyist platform. And therefore, obviously, being afraid of reprisal, he himself especially diligent "fought" against carelessness, loss of political vigilance, political blindness etc. Khrushchev in Moscow authorized repressions of a large number of party and Soviet workers. Under him, 23 secretaries of district committees of the city were almost all arrested. And almost all secretaries of district committees of area. All secretaries of the MK and MSK of the party were repressed: Katselenbogen, Margolin, Kogan, Korytny. All managers of departments, including Khrushchev’s personal assistant. Fear for deeds committed, aspiration to cover up tracks - here is what, I think, pushed first of all Khrushchev to undertake at the XX congress the exposure of a cult of personality, therefore he so energetically tried to accuse of all ill-deeds the person who couldn't in any way neither object, nor shed light on truth and actual facts. If he, Khrushchev, had high ideological reasons and honest intentions, he himself would have had to confess and self-critically assume his share of blame, having called on this from others".
After "Stalin repressions" in Khrushchev's report there are questions lower in rank. We will stop only on three of them. S.G. Kara-Murz remembers the deportations of the Crimean Tatars, Chechens etc: "To us came a dressmaker — a Tatar from the Crimea. The surname Kara-Murz is well known there, my grandfather on my father’s side was from the Crimea, and it was placed with my mother, with trust. When the Crimea was freed, she cried, spoke very much with emotion. Then she calmed down, and repeated: "Thank God! Thank God!" I did not fully understand about what she was talking about, afterwards only comparing and understanding. The dressmaker was afraid for her Tatar relatives. I thought that they will be judged for cooperation with Germans, and under laws of wartime would mean certain death. When it became known that nobody began to be judged individually, they moved all the Tatars from the Crimea, and she felt happy". From M. S. Solomentsev's memoirs: "Nowadays it is often said, that Chechens were repressed by Stalin, and that they strongly suffered from it. But I remember that when I worked as the chairman of the Karaganda Economic soviet, I met many deportees, including, from Chechnya, and they said to me that they live not bad at all, they all work, but as supply managers, in trade, in public catering. None of them went to work in mineshafts, but even then, under me, Karaganda gave out 35 million tons of coal". As a matter of fact, J.V. Stalin showed unusual softness concerning these people, making nobody responsible for war and high treason crimes, having allocated funds for their arrangements at their new residence. "The doctors’ plot". The first of the “doctors’ plot” were letters by L.F. Timashuk written in 1948. They concerned methods of treatment of A.A. Zhdanov shortly before his sudden death. No Jewish doctors in these letters existed. And in general, Timashuk had no concern to the "doctors plot " and the affair which arose only 4 years later. After the closing of the "case of the doctors" in 1953, the doctors treating A.A. Zhdanov recognized that in 1948 (as well as what wrote Timashuk!) medical care appeared to have been administered to the patient incorrectly, which eventually, led to his premature death. The "case of the doctors" got to "investigation" by the MGB from 1952, and was "inflated" by an investigator nationalist, "flying up the ranks on it" to post of deputy minister of state security, who was quickly exposed and paid with his life for his actions.
Perhaps, the most shameless lie about Stalin in the report is the lie on the subject "Stalin and Great Patriotic War". Here are excerpts from the report: "After that (the start of the Great Patriotic War) he for a long time actually didn't direct military operations and didn't start affairs at all but returned to the leadership only when some members of the Politburo came to him and told him that it is necessary to take urgently such measures to correct the situation at the front", "Stalin was very far from understanding of that real situation which developed on fronts", "Take, - I say, - a map, Alexander Mikhaylovich (Comrade Vasilevsky is present here), show to comrade Stalin what situation has developed. And it is necessary to say that Stalin planned operations by the globe. (Liveliness in the hall.) Yes, comrades, take a globe and show the frontline on it. And so I also tell comrade Vasilevsky, show the situation on the map".
It is possible to talk about the anti-Stalin lie in N. S. Khrushchev's report indefinitely. The report was only a priming in a huge "tectonic" break in the history of the Soviet country. I remember how in 1956 my parents said to me (a twelve-year-old teenager): "Seryozha. You understand nothing. Khrushchev betrayed everything! He betrayed everything!" It is possible to speak about a mean, unscrupulous position of the former Stalin party leadership and state of not defending Stalin, and about who really inflated "the cult of personality of Stalin", and about the terrible lie by Khrushchev – "There are no enemies of Soviet power!", which played a fatal role in all subsequent history of the Soviet Union. We will take that same experienced "bison" of perestroika– Anatoly Chubais who says: "… The fact is that I hate Soviet power. Moreover, there is little in my life that I hate as much as Soviet power. It began with morning switch on of the radio and a vigorous voice with that so especially disgusting Soviet intonation: "Hello, comrades! We now begin morning exercises!" For many normal people school days are a happy childhood. But I hated my school. The school was with advanced military patriotic education. We marched in uniform with a collar as worm by naval seamen, and sang the song: "The sun shines bright…. hello, fine country!" My school doesn’t stir any tender feelings inside me. And the main reminiscence consists in that we with friends at some time decided to pull it to pieces, and better still, set fire to it. We managed to tear off only one step off a porchway and a tear off seagull welded on a military patriotic monument. We weren’t able cause bigger damage to it. But we hated it all together".
The XX congress of CPSU was over. Delegates parted their own ways and "the post –XX Congress history" of Khrushchev's report began. From Enver Hodge's memoirs: "It (Khrushchev's report) was read only by First secretaries of the brotherly parties participating in congress. I read it during the night and, very shaken, gave it to read also to Mehmet and Gogo … Having read it, we returned at once to the authors their awful report. We had no need to take with ourselves this garbage tin of low-standard charges invented by Khrushchev".
Congress was followed by a "cannonade" in Georgia. In March, 1956 Georgians, as well as all Soviet citizens, were going to honour Joseph Stalin's memory. The "secret" report "About a cult of personality and its consequences" of which almost at once it became widely known, revolted residents of Georgia. The streets of Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Telavi, Gori were full of indignant people. They came out to defend Stalin. The outcome came closer by midnight on March 9. The commander of the Transcaucasian military district, General Ivan Fedyuninsky brought into Tbilisi military equipment, including tanks and artillery. Bloody events were played out at the House of communication – where 27 people were killed. On the embankment armored troop-carriers and tanks were thrown into the "fight". Protesters carried Lenin and Stalin's portraits in the first rows. That didn't help. From bullets and under tank caterpillars were killed from 60 to 150 people.
Also the bloody events in Hungary which led to many thousands of the victims by all parties of the conflict turned out to be the natural consequence of the "anti-Stalin setup" at the XX congress. Thus the West German newspaper "De Welt" reported: "In Gellert, security service specialists were captured. Hundreds them were killed in other districts of the city. They were burned in scores of underground galleries where they tried to hide".
The "secret" report by Khrushchev was in fact secret only for the Soviet people. In Poland in a copy of the text was made by a worker of the Central Committee of the PORP and transferred to Victor Grayevsky who by means of the Israeli Embassy forwarded the copy into hands of the chief of the Israeli counterintelligence of ShABAK, and from there it got into the west. In June, 1956 the report for the first time was published in the USA at first in English, and then in Russian. In the USSR the report for the first time was officially published only in 1989. Perhaps this is natural. If the speech was widely published right after its reading – to the Soviet people who perfectly knew the real Stalin and events of national history, all falsity of the speech, all artificiality of the charges against Stalin would have become clear at once.
With the flow of time, the anti-Stalin report by Khrushchev not only not "consigned to the past", but became an even more important factor in the development of the political situation. And not just in the Soviet Union. Events both in Hungary, and in GDR, and in Czechoslovakia, the relationship of the USSR and People's Republic of China – all these were the direct consequences developed by Khrushchev and his gang on course towards "de-Stalinization", are wider – "de-sovietization" of the entire culture, life, and views of the broad masses of people. Here the catastrophic phenomena appeared in communist parties of the capitalist countries, universal splits of Communist Parties into those "recognizing the report" and those "rejecting the report".
Molotov in a confidential conversation noted subsequently that if before the XX congress at least a large half of the world supported the USSR, after congress it wasn't necessary to speak about that any more. The subject of "Stalin repressions" became the main subject in the psychological war (the concept which was developed as part of the cold war). The USSR lost support of the leftist intellectuals of the West — who in turn transferred over towards transition to the sides of the opponents of the USSR in cold war. This process "was imported" into the environment of the domestic Soviet intellectuals, thereby generating "dissidents".
Soviet society during the post-Stalin period began to quickly degenerate morally and spiritually, becoming more and more defenceless under the powerful impact of petty-bourgeois and consumer psychology which actively "pleased" the leadership of the by then non-communist CPSU. Here and the active war against the ideas stated by J.V. Stalin in "Economic problems of socialism in the USSR" in 1952, the destruction of the bases, of the socialist economy of the USSR constructed in his time. Here and profanation of the ideology of the Soviet state, the destruction of its spiritual bond with the people and at the same time the creation of a complex of guilt and blame at those who built this state and defended it. The destruction of high communist ideals was conducted and the image of fair and brotherly life under communism was replaced by a pragmatical criteria of consumption like "to catch up with America on meat and milk". To Khrushchev belongs such pearls as "Communism means a free pass on city transport", "What is communism? Communism is pancakes with oil and sour cream". Paradoxically, but Khrushchev finished his political career off, having left the country without grain, with serious interruptions in the delivery of bread to the population.
The Krushchevites, "democratizers" sought to change the soul of the Soviet person, to take away from them a feeling of unity with other Soviet people, a feeling of a common Motherland – the Soviet Union, the pride of the great and fine Motherland, pride of the heroic Soviet history, the history of labour feats and struggles, and finally – to run off the road this terrible and awful Stalinist "democracy", in practice - a symbol for millions of people of a wonderful, decent and fair life.
Looking back, we see that J.V. Stalin correctly called on the party and the people for political vigilance and for understanding of that in the process of advancing forward, the class struggle doesn't fade, but on the contrary, becomes aggravated, and that achievements and progress don't nullify wrecking. "A feature of modern-day wreckers – was emphasized by Stalin, – in that they possess the party-membership card, play on the political trust awarded them as to party members, and use political carelessness of the Soviet people". These thoughts of Stalin had closely something in common with what Lenin said: "The destruction of classes is a lengthy affair, a difficult, persistent class struggle which after the overthrow of the power of capital, after the destruction of the bourgeois state, after the establishment of the dictatorship of the proletariat, doesn't disappear (as vulgar persons of old socialism and old social democracy imagine) but only changes in its forms, becoming in many respects even more fierce" (Lenin. PSS. T.38. Page 387).
About what it can lead to (and actually led to) the denial of the Stalin experience of construction of a communist society was written by Mao Tse Tung and Enver Hodge in their Joint Statement "About the birthday of J.V. Stalin" from December 21, 1964: "The criminal acts committed by Khrushchev and his handy henchmen will have long-term consequences, they will lead to the degeneration, and then to the destruction of the USSR and the CPSU".
The Gorbachev "perestroika" which generated "heroes" as the A.N. Yakovlev type became the direct continuation of the report of Khrushchev and the final stage of destruction of socialism and the Soviet Union, that same Yakovlev who "announced" the true purposes of "perestroika" clearly and openly. We will listen to him. In 2001, A.N. Yakovlev, remembering his activity, admitted: "At the beginning of perestroika, we had to lie, play the hypocrite, dissemble partially – there were no two ways about it. We had to – and in this, the specifics of a perestroika (reconstruction) of a totalitarian system – to break the totalitarian communist party". And in the introductory article to the edition of "The black book of communism" Yakovlev speaks in Russian: "After the XX congress, in a super-narrow circle of closest friends and adherents, we often discussed problems of democratization of the country and society. They chose a simple as a sledge hammer method of promoting the "ideas" of the late Lenin. The group of true, but not imaginary reformers developed (certainly, orally) the following plan: to strike using Lenin's authority Stalin and Stalinism. And then, in case of success, Plekhanov and social democracy can beat up Lenin, using liberalism and "moral socialism" – strike at revolutionism in general. The Soviet totalitarian regime could be destroyed only through glasnost (openness) and the totalitarian discipline of the party, masking themselves thus with so-called interests of modernising socialism. Looking back, I can say with pride that the smart, but very simple tactic – the mechanisms of totalitarianism against the system of totalitarianism itself – worked well". There is nothing to add to these words – everything is explained clearly and precisely.
Work on "beating up" everything Stalin and Soviet is being carried on by the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights. Member of the Presidential Council S. Karaganov made a speech at a meeting on February 1, 2011 in Yekaterinburg in the presence of the Russian President with a developed and far-reaching statement concerning de-sovietization. He directly said in the speech: "The people and elite after the last 100 years almost have nothing to respect", "It is necessary to recognize the Soviet period of our history as one big crime, and the Soviet Union – a criminal state". There you go!
We are left now with the need to understand only one question – and what are people’s attitude towards this restless vanity for "destroying", at last, this moustached monster of J.V. Stalin. And here the "democrats – liberals" have obvious disagreements. Suddenly J.V. Stalin wins first place in a television poll, "Stalin – the name of Russia"! In broad poll on a subject "If in Russia they decided to hold a public referendum to ask: whether "it is necessary to carry out a program assuming recognition of the Soviet Union as a criminal state which was carrying out genocide of its own people and guilty of unleashing of World War II", then how would you answer? And, you represent - 89.7% of all respondents answered - No, it isn't necessary. And only pathetic 9.6% supported, answered – yes, it is necessary. Numerous periodic polls show a steady growth of "popularity" of Stalin. Already more than 50% of the population speak positively about Stalin. Winston Churchill was it seems correct, during Khrushchev’s times when he said: "Khrushchev began a fight against a dead man who then came out of it victorious ".
Paradoxically (at first sight) that the Soviet, "totalitarian" system, the "totalitarian" thinking was provided in the USSR many decades of stable economic growth, cultural and scientific development of the country, and yet the "democratic" reforms which "spread" over the country a quarter of the century ago brought about only one thing – regress in everything – in the economy, industry, science, a crisis state of culture and art, full degradation of moral views and behaviour of people. The same as the "spread" of "democracy", led only to catastrophic ruin while in horror they see a totalitarian Soviet Union where in reality everything was better, good, kind, and people "grew" and multiplied?
What are we Bolsheviks to do, in this hardest period for the country and people, when in opposition to the present bourgeois regime is disorder where there is no light at the end and when the ordinary people are repeatedly deceived by the advertising promising fantastic riches, who in essence don't trust anybody and anything? There is one great and mighty feeling in each former Soviet person – a feeling of former belonging to a great and mighty Motherland who always remembers you and which you have to defend from all troubles and adversities. I am sure this mighty feeling will be the major engine in fight for the liberation of our great and fine Motherland from the present capitalist slavery, from the trap of lies and humiliation.

KFA PARTICIPATES IN MEETING TO CELEBRATE DAY OF THE SHINING STAR
The Juche Idea Study Group of England supported by the Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK and the UK Korean Friendship Association held a successful meeting to mark the Day of the Shining Star , the 74th anniversary of the birth of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL , in central London on the 30th of January . The meeting was honoured by the attendance of the diplomatic representatives of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea and was attended by members of the Juche Idea Study Group of England, the Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK, UK Korean Friendship Association and also members of the New Communist Party which included Andy Brooks general secretary as well members of its central committee, members of the Communist Party of Great Britain Marxist Leninist and Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain Marxist Leninist . A member of the Sweden Korea Friendship Association also attended .
Chairman Dermot Hudson opened the meeting saying that it was very important to celebrate the Day of the Shining Star as a practical act of solidarity with Peoples Korea.
The chairman read out a message from KFA member David Munoz de Castro which read in part "I congratulate the Korean people for the success of H bomb text which is the symbol of the victory of Songun.
This demonstrates the socialist superiority against imperialism and also against the decline of the revisionists propaganda which is the puppet of the imperialism and enemy of the working class.
Our support, solidarity and fight is always with the People of Korea.
Stop the imperialist and revisionist propaganda against the DPRK!
Andy Brooks said that meetings like this one were very important to increase solidarity with the DPRK . He said that the H bomb test by the DPRK was a successful act of self defence and that the DPRK was committed to no first use of nuclear weapons.
Alexander Meads , JISGE member and student spoke about the life and revolutionary activities of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL the sun of Songun. He said that comrade KIM JONG IL was born the son of guerrillas on Mt Paektu . Throughout his life he was at one with the people for example he participated in the construction of 20,000 flats in Pyongyang . KIM JONG IL began his Songun revolutionary leadership on the 25th of August 1960 at the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su no 105th tank division of the KPA and continued with it throughout his life. He was a great revolutionary . Alexander concluded with a rallying call to carry forward the ideas of great comrade KIM JONG IL.
Comrade Thae Yong Ho from the DPRK embassy exposed the falsity and hypocrisy of those who argued against the DPRK nuclear deterrent , apparently the UK must have its own nuclear deterrent but not the DPRK . More must be done to expose anti DPRK propaganda. Comrade Thae took some questions from participants in the meeting. Asked about the 7th congress of the WPK he said that congresses of the WPK are concerned with programmatic tasks.
Dermot Hudson chair of the JISGE addressed the meeting on the subject of the Juche Idea and Songun Idea today saying in part "
The US and other imperialists turn their hatred and venom towards the
DPRK not because of “human rights “ nor because of the nuclear issue but because the DPRK under the banner of the Juche idea is self-reliant and is committed to self-development . This is what irks the imperialists the most. They also fear the spread of the Juche Idea and Songun Idea throughout the world , they do not want the DPRK’s example spreading to other countries
However the imperialists are in vain . The influence of the Juche Idea and Songun Idea are spreading rapidly...
The Juche Idea and Songun are not abstract but firmly grounded in the realities of the world and are enjoying increasing support from the world people because they show the way to true independence.
James Taylor , UK KFA member and JISGE member who is also head of Eastern region of the CPGBML read out the statement "Power of the DPRK " from the AINDF saying in part "the power of the DPRK demonstrating throughout the world, the boundless pride of the people under wise leadership of the benevolent leader.

UK KFA PICKETS SOUTH KOREAN PUPPET EMBASSY
The UK Korean Friendship Association along with the Juche Idea Study Group of England and the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK held a picket of the south Korean puppet embassy on the 4th of February at 4pm to demand independent reunification without outsiders and also to call for the release of political prisoners in south Korea and an end to the suppression of the labour movement and pro reunification forces.The picket was also supported by the New Communist Party and their general secretary Andy Brooks was present at the picket.
Dermot Hudson Chairman of the UK Korean Friendship Association and President of the Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK made a speech to introduce the picket saying " This picket is very timely as we have learnt that on the 29th of January held a trial of Han Sang Gyun, chairman of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU). Last year the police issued a warrant of arrest for him for the mere reason that he led an illegal demonstration and arrested him in December by hurling a huge repressive force. This is a shocking and diabolic act of fascist repression by the south Korean puppet authorities . Can you imagine if the head of the British TUC was arrested and brought to trial.
In south Korea the right wing fascist puppet regime is pursuing an anti people austerity policy just like the Cameron government here and a number of other capitalist countries . However , it is far more ruthless in suppressing the labour and trade union movement in south Korea. Protests against austerity in south Korea have been met with water cannon and tear gas . In one incident an old farmer Baek Nam-gi was knocked by a water cannon and hospitalised on the 14th of November 2015.
As a matter the only human rights violator on the Korean peninsula is the south Korean puppet regime not the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea . It has even been condemned by the UN who said that the “the freedom of assembly and association has stepped back in south Korea in recent years. In Peoples Korea the people are masters of their destiny, they enjoy full employment , free medical care , free education and low cost housing but in south Korea there is no sovereignty as south Korea is a puppet of the US and people’s rights are violated....

South Korea is also still holding 23 long term un-converted prisoners . These are people who were arrested in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s . One them Kim Ki-chang e is 96 years old
We are also here to support the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea . South Korea has no independence and is occupied by 37,000 US troops. In his New Year dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN called for independent reunification saying “The whole nation should struggle resolutely against the sycophantic and treacherous manoeuvres of the anti-reunification forces to cooperate with the outside forces. The south Korean authorities should discontinue such a humiliating act as going on a tour of foreign countries touting for cooperation in resolving the internal issues of the nation”. Thus the south Korean puppet regime have been trying drag all kinds of foreign forces into the Korean peninsula. The Korean reunification question should be discussed in Pyongyang , Seoul or Panmumjom not New York, not Tokyo, not London or Paris , not the UN but in Korea by Korean people themselves.
It is also highly regrettable that the south Korean puppet regime have joined the unseemly and hysterical clamour over the DPRK’s satellite launch . The DPRK has every right to launch its own satellites and this is something that no has the right to interfere in.
So in conclusion we call on south Korea to stop repressing the labour and progressive movement, supporting jailing pro reunification activists and stop depending on outside forces !

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a statement congratulating the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea on the successful launch of the Kwangmyongsong-4:
Our organisations, the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA, wish to congratulate the government , party and people of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea on the successful launch of the earth observation satellite Kwangmyongsong-4. This is another great achievement and miracle of Juche science, the most advanced form of science.
The DPRK National Aerospace Development Administration reported Carrier rocket Kwangmyongsong blasted off from the Sohae Space Center in Cholsan County, North Phyongan Province at 09:00 on February 7, Juche 105(2016). The satellite entered its pre-set orbit at 09:09:46, 9 minutes and 46 seconds after the lift-off.
The satellite is going round the polar orbit at 494.6 km perigee altitude and 500 km apogee altitude at the angle of inclination of 97.4 degrees. Its cycle is 94 minutes and 24 seconds.
This is another great leap forward for the DPRK which contributes to building a thriving socialist country. It is indeed a momentous event in developing the country's science, technology, economy and defence capability of Peoples Korea.
The Kwangmyongsong-4 was launched using indigenous technology, resources and labour . It is a graphic and striking testimony to the correctness and overwhelming superiority of the Juche Idea , Songun Idea , the line of self reliance and the policy of self development .
Some are jealous that they cannot do such a thing themselves and others want to hold back the development of the DPRK, ultimately to stifle the socialist system of Korea and to subjugate the Korean people into imperialist slavery.
The satellite launch of Peoples Korea is its independent and sovereign right which no one should seek to challenge nor interfere. It is quite absurd for other countries to take issue with it as the launch has been carried out on the DPRK territory. Those condemning the launch remind us of a bully and irate person telling his neighbour that they cannot have a barbeque in their own backgarden.
Those making an unseemly noise about the launch are not the "international community" but simply the US imperialists and their puppets ,lackeys and vassals as well as some big powers who have sold out and kowtow to the imperialists.
We admire, and salute, the courage of the plucky and brave Korean people and their supreme leader respected Marshal KIM JONG UN in defying US and world imperialism , bravo comrades !.

The UK Korean Friendship Association issued the following statement in response to the statement of Foreign Secretary Hammond on the recent successful launch of the DPRK's satellite Kwangmysong 4:
Firstly , it is the absolute inviolable right of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to explore space and to launch space vehicles. Space is not owned by the US or anyone else nor is there a monopoly granted to a small numbers of states to explore space . The launch of the Kwangmysong 4 was carried out on the DPRK own territory using its own resources . It is no one else business whether the DPRK launches satellite or not . It is certainly not the business of the UK which is thousands of miles away from the DPRK.
Secondly, Hammond cites UNSC 'resolutions' but these are illegal ones that are actually contrary to the UN charter and were railroaded through the UNSC using bullying ,diktat and influence buying . The UNSC resolutions were a violation of the DPRK's sovereignty and the DPRK rejected them when they were passed .Thus the DPRK is not legally bound to obey any UNSC resolution.
Thirdly, the DPRK's launch of the satellite was not a threat to anyone nor was it detrimental to regional peace and security. The DPRK followed all international procedures by informing all relevant UN bodies of its intention to launch a satellite . The DPRK is a signatory to the Outer Space Treaty(5th of March 2009) and is therefore entitled to launch satellites. It is a false assertion of Hammond that the DPRK is prioritising nuclear and missile development over the living standards of its people. In fact the launch of the Kwangmysong greatly contributes to the well-being of the people of the DPRK by contributing to the improvement and advance of the independent economy of the DPRK.
The UK should not meddle in the affairs of the DPRK nor should it act as a poodle of the US . It is time for the UK to recognise the DPRK's right to independence and develop relations with the DPRK on that basis.
